Im downloading with T3 and it is so long that I wanna scream too. I think the server also has bad connection... This is really a torture...
I guess there is a huge traffic in the server, probably everyone is downloading now.

I'm going on 5hrs so far for update. must be alot traffic and it is torture.

And those of us with an copy of PTS went through the exact same thing to get it.

I'm in the middle after 3 hours. it is past midnight here and im secretly to my office because of the T3 here... the server sucks, sometimes i cancel and restart the download in case I get a better connection. no great difference though.

Actually, I wonder why the responsible team didnt release just a small patche like in other games of 50-100 mb maximum, like in other games, and we have to download the whole game from the beginning...

PTS was much quicker as 90% of L2's community weren't downloading at the same time. Sorry guys - but for future - always get PTS - makes it much easier for updating live. I've done this for most updates.

It's not taking me that long to download the patch. I started around 4PM CDT and I'm almost done. It could just be that I'm geographically close to Texas.

37 seconds to download the conversion file, couple of seconds to unzip and put the file in the proper place. I was going to download from fileplanet too, just to have it for a friend, it would have taken 8hours and 45minutes to complete. That's just the download!

Only took me less then 2 hours to get..Get a fileplanet Subscription.....def worth it for times like these

I would do that, it's just that I can't download the PTS to live file, so I'm updating again. I just really hope I'll get my name on Franz :/

I updated both pcs in exactly the same way from the pts. one was done in .. 30 seconds, give or take. The other is still chugging away....... something like 8 hours later.
