Most hit the SoE within a few seconds of each other, with 2 of us on guard as their timers were counting down.
The moment their characters disappeared from the screen, they also dropped from party.
When I SoE'd, the timer counted down, as normal.
When my screen faded out, the game crashed to desktop, crit error style.
Which, i foolishly didn't screenshot, darn it.
We were standing on the hillside that looks down on the bridge leading to the Ice Queens area...
It's also happening occasionally when I die on franz (when I click on return to village). I get the crit error and im back to the desktop. I've had the tele thing also. I'd suspect both are connected. It is probably deeper than just the scrolls of escape.

Oh yes it was don't you remember all the people saying that this is a pvp game and that what we test on PTS. Also if you were testing anything else then you were a carebaer and had no idea what this game is about.

no, NC screwed over testing by keeping the cats off the server for several days resulting in most people saying "screw this".
most people were sick of the test server before the cats disappeared but good try.
Yea i was leveling up alts today in ant's nest and both toons crashed after the soe finished however the prophet didnt when using return 2. Happend 12 times today while soeing lol

I did Crashed several times in the Orc Regions this week..
Until now I never though of a frakin bug.. but you made me realized that all of them appeared right after clicking on a SOE: the moment the screen is black, bam crit error and the stupid "L2 encountered a blah blah and need to blah blah" windows appear.
