Nine castles up for siege on a weekend. It's going to be crazy if there's four on one day and five on another. How about a new schedule and spread the siege over three days?
Um, no. We already give up our Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons for sieges, every other weekend. And you're suggesting that we give up Friday nights as well? Having so many castle sieges at once can only be a good thing for a well-populated server, as it will open more castles up to more clans.
On Lionna, until C4, one 'side' controlled all or all but 1 of the castles at a time. It's not always been the same side, but when one ally came to power, they'd grab all the castles and hold them for 6+ months. Eventually, well into their 'reign', we'd stop having castle sieges all together. Those that owned the castles would sit at their empty castles for 2 hours and hope the other side would show up. After a few months of this, they'd get complacent and that's when the other side would show up and ninja a castle or two.
Now there are too many castles for one ally to hold, so the power house alliances have been concentrating on just the 'important' castles - Aden, Giran, Goddard and to a lesser extent, Oren. I imagine we'll add Rune to that list. That has left Dion, Gludio and Innadril for other groups to siege (for the most part.)
Spreading the castles out to 3-3-3 would give the power house alliances more chances to hold more castles. As it is now, Goddard and Aden being on the same day, if Aden is in trouble, we'll give up Goddard to keep Aden. But if Goddard were on Friday, we would be able to concentrate on Goddard and Aden seperately.
You really want fewer people to be involved in castle sieges? I don't.
(And yeah, I know, 3 clans to an ally now, but I still imagine there will be unofficial allies going on, we've already had them on Lionna for ages.)
I'd rather see some spreading out of castle seiges tho.
I'd think alot of allys will shift soon, reason being is the 3 clan limits to allies.
so you may very well see 2 clans have 2 of the big castles in 1 ally, and the other clan have a lesser castle just to round it out.
IDK how things will go across with C5. but I see alot of interresting things IMO.
I don't thinnk it would hurt to add a new castle seige on friday...adding more and more castles to sat/sun is getting a bit out of hand specailly after we see garcia introduced to the map.
