OK - maybe just me, but need an answer to this plz.
Does one drop or not with this update? I was pked and did not drop anyting. But a friend was killed (not sure if pk - but do not think so) and he dropped items off of him....
So was it luck that I did not drop and he did...?
So - is this implemented with the C5 - or is this still a test item in Korea???
And can one define chaotic?
Is it red with x amount of pk's?
Is it purple with x amount of pk's?
You cannot drop while white or purple, or while red with 5 or less PKs. If you do drop, it is a bug. Screenshot it asap and send a ticket into support.
I have been killed by Mobs twice in the past and dropped Avadon Robe. When this happened I was fighting in FG. I was happily killing mobs then bam, server crashed.
Soooo, I then wait for the server to come back up, low and behold I was lying on the ground less my Ava Robe. I PM'd a GM and there is nothing they can do I was told. For situations like this they DO NOT reimburse lost items ><

This is for wielded weapons. Things MIGHT change in the near future regarding other equipped gear.

I find it surprising every time that a player with a 70+ toon can post such nonsence.
Did you really play through all these 70+ levels or did you uhm have some help with those? Anyway, I don't really care, but you should read on and you'll find why the GM's did not return your robes. ;)
Here's the answer to the OP.
When you are Killed by a MoP, you can drop anything and everything with the exclusion of: 1) Your Equipped Weapon. 2) Your Adena and finaly: 3) Ancient Adena. If either of these 3 things drop while you were killed by a MoP, Petition it as it is a BUG.
Now: In PvP, you Do not Drop anything. Naza, Zip, Zilch. If you do(and you're not RED) petition it as it is a Bug.
In PK, if you are a PKer (meaning Red) and you have 6+ PK counts, you can drop anything and everything with the exlusion of: 1) Adena 2) Ancient Adena.

They did not reimburse items because that is how the game is supposed to work. Die to mob, you can drop stuff except equipped weapon and adena (except when you're red and have 6+ pks, then you can also drop the weapon). So what the GM said was correct, why should he reimburse items when it's not a bug. Although in the case of a server crash they usually DO reimburse, even if you dropped to a mob - I have personally witnessed people petitioning an item loss due to server crash and they got their items back (clannie dropped armor, incidentally also at FG, when everybody DCd from the server and the doom knight could kill her in the 15s she still was in game).
What would have been a reason to petition would have been a.) drop weapon or adena to a mob when you're not red with 6+ pks or b.) drop anything at all when you get killed by a player and are not red with 6+ pks.
Apparently there is a patch in testing on the Korean PTS right now which would make players not drop anything at all, even to mobs, unless they are red with 6+ pks. So maybe we will get that soon, when it survives the testing on the PTS.
Yes, thank you kindly for Reaffirming my Suspision that C5 is finaly out as I was starting to go Crazy trying to figure out what was up with all the new things.....
However, as you can read yourself from this linkage on the things that came with C5, you will notice no such statement as "You Don't Drop Items anymore at all" are made on any of it's 17 pages.

No. I will write in short sentences, otherwise you might miss it again. Server crashed, you died to mob. You petitioned. GM read "I died to mob and dropped item". So he gave you the canned answer "you die to mob and drop, nothing we can do". That's what I meant. If you then read on, I told you that in cases where a GM actually "gets it" and realizes that it was a server DC, you CAN get a refund, even though the GM in your case sucked.
And the whole point why I answered was because your answer was too general and misleading, because you did not distinguish between pve and pvp (pvp - no drop, pve - yes, you can drop) and just answered with something like "utter rubbish, I was white and dropped".

Firstly, in this instance what Ralazira is saying may not be put in a clear manner but as we were in same clan at the time, I remember this happening. I also know that he petitioned the GM in the correct manner and stated clearly that it was a DC/Server crash which caused him to lose the item. He was still sent the standard reply.
I accept that the GM's sometimes help but not in this case.
Secondly to Ralazira, please don't jump down everyone's throats when you answer a post, there's no need.
You died, dropped items, then server crashed so you were not able to have the chance to retrieve your item. This may or may not result in an investigation and subsequent reimbursement.
The "no-drop" on death changes are currently in Korea, and I believe on thier PTS not live yet. Check the notes about C5 in the announcements section or in the PTS section, this no-drop stuff is not listed anywhere by anyone "official".

WRONG!!!! I died a record 5 times today and 2 times I dropped nothing. On the last death I dropped my BW Boots and Gloves. I ran back and picked them back up before someone else found them, otherwise Id be pulling my hair out right now.

Regardless of toon name color, or amount of pk's, in pve you can drop anything except adena, aa, and equiped weap.

LOL - so all i got wrong was the Weap from a red pker....or am i getting to confused now???
