After reading some posts, I decided Kain would be a great server to start on. I have played other MMOs in the past and kind of got tired of only seeing 4-5 guildies on that never wanted to do anything. So I was wondering how I should go about finding a populated clan, one that's friendly, groups for exp, PvPs, and will admit a lowbie :o If you have any suggestions please let me know or message me in game, character's name is Kajira, thanks!
Clans from my experience at lower levels...will fall apart. Pre lvl 40 I joined several and had some good/bad experiences, but always they disbanded/went unnatended. Now that I'm 40+ I have joined a sub clan of a main clan and am enjoying myself greatly! Seems much more active and I have high hopes that we shall prosper together.
That being said, don't get discouraged from attempting to join clans at lower levels, its a good learning experience and you can make good friends, plus you never know, major clans all have to start small :)
With the start of academies higher level clans may join you for the points they get from it. However most high levels aren't able to help out lower levels as much as some new people expect and get discouraged, which is why lower clans are nice because everyone is in the same range.
I can't tell you how often I've been high level and a much lower person joins and it causes problems because they expect free gear, powerlevelling, or help with a PKer several hundred thousand adena in ports across the map.
