Wow. C5 has certainly brought surprise! The areas I used to hunt are filled with mobs that are weak to sacred attacks in C5. Unfortunately, this means they are supposed to have a "mild" resist to dark attacks based on the new elemental system. LOL. Mild means 30%.
It seems that the areas I used to hunt (Forest of the Dead, Imperial Tomb) are now filled with dark resist mobs (since they either have dark resist or have sacred weakness).
Anyone have suggestions for 74+ Spellhowler hunting areas? It looks like I may have to either go after the 2X-5X mobs in Hot Springs and Wall of Argos areas or stop using Vamp Claw, Death Spike, and Shadow Flare :(
Monastery of Silence has mobs for you but they're 4x. If you can get past the first 2-3 rooms there's a hallway of sorts that might be the spot if you can make it in that far and manage to maintain the hallway.
NOOOOO! Not the Blazing Swamp. I got sick of that place in C2 / C3 when it was mostly 5X mobs. Although XP is decent there I can't bear to go back yet until I exhaust all other spots :)
And on another note... Did you sub Destroyer yet? I'm eager to hear how you like it.

I actually subbed Destroyer on C4 PTS and really liked it. However, I am "in process" of all the quests. I went to kill the Cemetary boss (Cabrio?) but our group was by the port when an enemy combatant was porting in. So I killed him without realizing it was a one side war.
Then we got to the cemetary, we took out the boss, and lo and behold, I had too much stuff on me and it wouldn't let me click on the chest and register the quest. So, as I was making myself lighter (by throwing shots, potions, etc on the ground) some farmers showed up and pk'ed me.
I never got the credit for that boss so I will just wait until the next time.
I like Forest of the Dead a lot but it has been too crowded lately. I really prefer hunting where no one is around. One of the reasons I did a lot of hunting in the wastes.
