What are the advantages / disadvantages of sponsoring a clan member?

Sponsor helps with some quests (for example the D grade clan armor), and it's like personal guide to the newbie.

Does anyone know how to get the a grade clan armor, I did the d grade with my apprentice but the a grade im clueless >.<

ya it costs clan points and adena to get it. It's a little over 20,000 points for 1 set of armor. Not worth waisting points on. But there is a NPC in Rune that sells the armor.

The noob gets a cheap full set of armor (
http://lineage2.stratics.com/content/library/quests/quest.php?id=15171 ) and when they hit 40 and do their class change your clan gets reputation points.

If you have sufficient permissions, double click on your name and under "apprentice" hit select, and a list of available academy members comes up.
