You write in your sticky that you are investigating the suspicios players or what ever and that is exactly what we would like you to do.
Now..... PLEASE do the next steps and clear out the Franz problem.
I'v been playing L2 for all most a year now and I really like the game. But Yesterday I had two friends who came from a private server (yes I know its illegal) and I told them that they should start playing on Franz, because of the fresh start on the server.
I also had two other friends who would like to start they both came from WoW.
So yesterday they all logged in and was going to start, they all was really excited.
....about..... 1/2 later I got two phone calls and a MSM message where 3 of my friends asked me "if this is a joke or something?"
I asked back what do you talk about, and they told me about the problem.
As the HUGE L2 fan I am I said they must clearly have misunderstod something, so I decided to create a DE just to see if they were right.
:( :( :( It was pure hell.... it was like nothing I'v ever imagined... it was terrible :( :( :(
My fourth friend sended me an e-mail and told me that I had to buy him a beer, because this was truly a joke.
All four are already gone, they all is really angry that they use $15 + the fee for the L2 s/n and then it's nothing like I'v told them.
I told them that they should join Teon then, but it was too late. As one of my friends said "If they(NCSoft) cant even handle a fresh server, where all players are at the same location, then I woulden even dream about the problems on the old servers"
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM.

I write here in the forum, because any petition, and e-mail has resulted in nothing.

UPDATE : Two of my friends (one from WoW and one from the P.server) went back online this morning, created one char in each class and in less then 10-15 minutes they could identify more then 100 ppl violating the EULA rules.
Thay have taken a lot of screenshots and starting a forum thread on a WoW forum and a Private server forum, to poste there "first encounter with L2 C5 RETAIL"

with such a high bot population on the server, and with every second player coming up to me and saying "[bleep]ing bot" when they see my second account trudging along behind me, i am very concerned about how NCsoft goes about determining which players are bots and which are not?

my second account is on autofollow, but i have in game macros set up so that in one click of a button i can make him /assist me, heal me, and then back to following me.

i was in SoDA the other day, and what i did was nuke a mob, and then have my melee character /assist me and finish it off. another player that was in the same room simply could not believe that i was able to do that without having a bot. he was totally convinced that anybody that uses a second account is botting, and even told me that he has reported me for botting.

this is getting pretty rediculous.

People are freakin' stupid. When I was leveling an archer, I would target a mob, switch to my SE screen and hit the macro that would assist, root, AF, then switch back to the other screen to plink the mobs. It's incredibly easy, folks.

It is correct when you dual box like that, it ight look like you are botting, but thats because ppl dont know how well the macro system in-game works.

BUT, what I saw was trains eg. 5-7 ppl autofollowin each other all changing for the same target at the same time... it was terrible :(
