L2 clients on one PC

In C4, I was able to run 4 clients on my PC (Athlon64 3k+ Venice, 2GB RAM, GeForce 7600GGT.). 2 mine I use, and BF could run 2 of his when needed transfer stuff or open shops overnight without the need to have 2 computers turned on.
Now 3 clients start just fine, and when I try to run the fourth I always get crit error while at splashscreen of the game.

This is no way meant to be as a rant or whine, it is just an observation. No need to "fix it or we quit" LoL :cool:

I have similar problems but i cannot log over that one account (i have 2 account); i make a tecnical question in forum, i hope something solve my problem

I am really afraid, i think is right kill botting not kill player that pay 2 account for playing for fun 2 active account

Oh and when I have other system monitoring soft running because gameguard cuts access to sensors for SpeedFan, Ventrilo somewhat crashes while running game. I use Asus Probe II usually (I know, crappy piece of soft, but it works with GG). So many interresting catches can be found :)

I can still run both my accounts well, but when one crit errors, i need to restart them both. For some reason, after the crit, the one screen that stays up gets horrible graphic glitches and flashing. Thats the most annoying part of C5 for me, because it seems like the critical errors have become more frequent, atleast for me.

Mah... My error is possible dont make for the two simultanely account but for others.... But for number of error:330 dont see anything in Forum ..... I am really afraid because i create the second account for have more time for playing but atm is impossible... ****....

I think isnt good my problem for NCsoft because if i cannot use second account i dont pay second yet, then i hope in faster answer from they....

try deleting your "option.ini" file in the l2 directory. Fixed the crashing poblems for me

Hm luckily when my one client crashes, other stays unaffected for most of the time. But sometimes the crit shots down both clients.

The problem: Try deleting content of the whole \system directory (backup your screenshots if you want them, they are stord there). Then start L2, wait till it downloads few files and run fullcheck.
I am not sure what else, maybe some system maintennance - upgrade drivers, check if firewall or antivirus do not block that exe or so. How much RAM do you have? C5 seems to be more RAM consuming.

I have 1 Gigabyte.... I think is enough :o

I had the same problem, the second client crashed everytime I loaded it up.

Then I deleted the folder "system" and then tun full check.
And now it works.

I already delete the folder system
I already check file

But..... Second Client dont work.... Really i dont understand....

And i dont understand why so few people answer this discussion.... So few people have this problem?

Anyway.... If I pay two account I want to use two account.... And possible on one only PC (why i have to buy another PC for usign my two account.... That i pay?)

I doubt that many people run 2 clients on the same PC. I've been doing it quite successfully for over a year now. Originally I ran both from the same EXE but later split them onto 2 different hard drives. Don't know what to tell you.

But now are you able to use two client?
Only by create a secodn folder?

I haven't tried it from the same folder in some time. Will give it a shot tonight but I suspect it will work fine.

Yes, i check both, now i am checking again for try if i solve problems (i have delete both system folder and now i recheck both)

Really i am curious to find the problem, first for useful commerce but either for understand why dont work twin Client

P.S.: i have partition, i copy client folder in secodn partition

Ok, i make and this is the summary:

1) i delete system folder from L2 folder in C:\ and from L2 folder in E:\

2) i start L2 from C:\ i check file and start game, then logoff; same for L2 in E:\

3) when all check i start both, first works, second no.....

Also make sure you get 100% into the game before you start loading the second client.

2. login Client-1
3. choose char and go into L2-world on client-1
4. see that the char is there and active in the L2-world.
5. do all the above steps from 1-4 with the next client

I do this succesfully with 3 clients, but then again yesterday when I should setup afk-shops my third client crashed all the time, so I rebooted and the problem was solved.

I run out of ideas ... reinstall windows? To get rid of crap that loads at start. Shutdown antivirus software, any other utilites (Norton, clipboard, winamp agents, whatever is not needed for basic system run) Try some other RAM modules? Tweak BIOS settings a bit, rearrange PCI cards (if any) in slots, put game on different partition, create extra partition for windows swap ... I do not know. I would start from the hardware platform probably, reassemble computer anew and completely reinstall windoze.

When my clanboss sugeest me reinstall L2 i think about a possible corruption of actual L2 version
My pc is so clean then i think this method can solve
