its a total scaming .... not fair at all ... i reactivated my account becose i wanted to play again .... and i see the only way i can play the game it pay some more money !
how the hell am i supose to download the game now ? i remember it was posible some days ... whats now ? we need to wayst all our money ?

What do you mean by scamming? I'm assuming you're talking about the download from file planet? You can install the game from your CDs and then it will update you to the latest chronicle without paying.
I can't answer about file planet because I never used it. My reply is try the full download from the lineage2 website.
But here's a solution. Go to Downloads. Click on PTS and get the PTS to live conversion file. Start that and it should update you all the way through C5. It's going to take awhile so go to sleep I guess.
Remember, the the PTS to LIVE conversion file. Have fun!
Fileplanet doesn't charge you to download files unless you wan't their high-speed, no lines servers. Don't be lazy, look around and you'll see the free servers there, just register, it's been free for as long as I can remember and I just tested it myself.
Back with C4, I had a few Disconnects from File Planet and a bunch more with the Live Updater. So overall it took me about 2-3 days to download C4.
With C5, I was only Disconnected from File Planet 1 time while getting C5 and it was ONLY because my DSL kicked out. I like the File Planet. There is nothing wrong with it. Oh and I do Not pay FilePlanet to download. :p
The Registration with File Planet is FREE and will only take about 2 minutes out of your life to do it.
Do what they say but have a backup plan just in case. Best of luck downloading and if you're looking for a server come to Hindemith. Most of us are noob friendly so drop a line at the Hinde forums.
On fileplanet the "member plus" thingy cost money with no waiting time and other BS. But regular member doesnt cost anything. Read the fineprint below the pay to be a member thingy.

The C5 alone? Something around 3,3xx,xxx,xxx bytes. But that's not all :p
If you already have C4 on your PC, the rest will go pretty quick through the Live updater. If you quit sometime like back in C1 or C2, you will still have a loooong wait.
