Hi all. I'm just about to give L2 a second chance after quitting not long after release and am wondering a fwe things as far as the races and balance.
Before there was a huge difference between the difference races running speeds and it seemed kiting would be the main form of PvP and you'd be kind of screwed if you were pure melee..is this the case?
Second is there a good balance between the different classes? If I go pure melee am I going to get housed? If I'm an Orc will I just be kited everywhere?
Melees can now root you for 10 seconds with their new c5 skills, (plenty of time for a dagger to get a couple of blows in - which now hurt and land a LOT).
Daggers actually seem to be quite good now, their backstab skill bypasses CP and so if they get a good strike, they can basically 1 shot most mages.
I'm not too familiar with orcs ... you'd have to ask someone else about that, but all in all, classes are quite balanced at the moment, (cept necro :P)
