its nice to see the server are down again, hows about some explaniation or maybe a bonus for missed playing time - typical

All the servers are showing to be up to me at the moment...

true, but if you try to log in then you cant unless your on barts and the same happened this morning for about 6 hours

How many server showed down for you? And do they still show down?

All the servers are showing up to me ingame and on Glop....

It appears your having issues....

You should see a listing of 10 servers do you?

yes, all 10 servers are on there and all are showing as down in red except for bartz, which is blue and light. ill check my other kit

I'm thinking if it's isp related most the time half of the servers would be showing down...

Being the person is new or at least has a low post count i'm thinking they are new...

I'm slowly working up to having them check their hosts file.

And i'm not a meanie, i'm just orc ;)

sorry everyone, its a laptop configuration. the pc upstairs is working fine so i will check the files and re test. bloody orcs eh :)

and as i type the lineage load up screen is now loading some updates after i have clicked check files. wonder why this wasnt picked up before eh. OH WELL.

So lets talk about your network setup.... How is the internet coming into the house and how is it going to each pc?

well its coming in through a belkin dsl router and lall the kit goes through this, but it doesnt matter now as its the files on the laptop. it appears some where missing from within the lineage folder and are now being reloaded.

i take full responsibility for this.

anyway, i am gonna go play linage upstairs on my pc . thx all

If you have your networking setup correctly on both PC's....

Just take the laptop and connect to your desktop...Browse to your L2 folder on your desktop and do a copy/paste to your laptop....

Thats the fastest way to update an install, that is as long as the other pc is up to date to.
