So I'm making a SH and have been using a lvl 32 SO that I made some time ago on a trial account, which I reactivated. The 'SH' is closing in on 32, and I'm wondering what's faster: the SH solo, or the SH + SE in-party. I'm getting to a point where the 32 SO won't be of much use and I should just go solo and deactivate the second account, but I'm not sure I should.
With a SE of equal level in-party, the exp is halved between the two characters; but you get buffs and recharge. Without the SE, you get full exp, but without buffs and recharge. With the SE one could go non-stop in theory, but since the exp is divided between the two, would the SH that's in-party with a boxed SE level faster than a SH that's going solo?
My main goal here is the SH, could care less about the SE -- only using the SE as an aid for the SH if it will level faster. So does anyone have experience with this that could give me some insight?
u have 2 options.
1. The SE outside the party, so u get complete exp and the se can recharge, heal and buff.
BUT 8and here comes option 2)
2. If you have an higher lvl then 40 and the SE is alwasy 32 u have an prob. Bad EMP and bad recharge.
My Tip. let him stay in your group around lvl 52, so the SE haves EMP3 and better mana recharge.
Then u can use it as Buffbot and are happy. But dont forget, the SE gets Wildmagix, for Mcrit.

yeah it seems like you are leveling slower by watching just 1 XP bar, but you are getting more XP total between both your characters so it's well worth it i think to have the SE in party.
It might be worth for your levelling speed to let the SE drop two or three levels behind (it makes a significant difference in the way the experience is split up), but on a whole, leave it in party - and yes, it makes a huge difference. Try using a cast speed weapon and/or acumen potions on the SH to actually break your MP in properly so the SO/SE can do her job.
