The new lands that came out with these last 2 Chronicles definately get my wanderlust going. Sometimes when the grind gets to me and I really don't want to read endless lines of spam from towns, I head cross country to places I've never seen before. Even when my character really has no reason to be there!
One time on an experimental character (lvl 25 Monk) I decided to walk up north of Ivory Tower to take a look up there (started from Gludin). I had some of the most exciting times doing that, wandering in areas where you could die in one hit...from anything.
What I really got a kick out of is when I run across people grinding in those areas and they see this orc running thru wearing low D grade armor! I get asked, "Umm, what are you doing here?" When I explain I'm exploring I usually get the response of "What?!" or "You'll die". Usually I get buffed and advice on safe areas to wander.
It feels like I'm on safari looking at all these strange creatures that one day I'll hunt. Anyone else do any exploring please post your travel log. :)
Anyway enough rambling, just thought I'd put a positive note in amongst all the cries of "Nerf!"

I just got thru exploring the Skyshadow (wagon?) Relic near Schuttgart, its frickin sweet with these lil teams of ghost dorfs standing around this fairy lookin mage type...
Recently I was going throughout aden CliffJumping, more specifically, from waterfalls and into the basins below. Talking Island has one of the BEST falls and as a Pluse the music there is enchanting! (dun call em the singing falls for nuttin!) Also, the Partisan Hideway or whatever the hell they renamed it to now has one that you can walk out on...its a terrain bug im sure cause you walk out over the falls like 20 feet and stand in mid air as though there is ground beneath your feet! its an awesome fall into the pool!
Anyhow, I could go on forever about my lil trips! Take soloce knowingthere are others like you!
Nice! I like doing that too. Even if recently I got killed in a very unfair way in the forest of the dead. I was staring at this dark path between trees, this fog in front of me, a great atmosphre, when suddenly a deep red mob rooted me from far and nuked me to death. "hey i'm a warlord! cheater!"
I still want to explore Rune more, it's so big I got lost last time it took me a long while to get out.
I like to find houses alone in the landscape, wish we could own a house in this game, not costing billions like clan halls of course:)
