Fishing, yay!

So, i ve been wondering if any of you know from what kind of fish/chests do the parts for the new hair accessories drop. Also what are these Green/White/Purple Colored Fish Scales?

As far as I heard, the fairy antennae drop from white fish. I'm not sure about the others, and in fact, not even about the fairy stuff.

Um, thats outdated. Its for C4 only :)

I'm (like many others, I'm sure) looking to have a set of goggles made myself. Do these come from fishing as well?
Anyone happen to have a screenshot of them on races other than dwarves and elves?

The colorful scales come from fishing at night with the night baits. Each kind of fish gives it's color scales.

True! Thanks a lot, although, i found out that something is wierd when u fish at night, do u have to do ur skills the opposite way? :-S Maybe i need lures for begginers to learn how to fish at night :P

When the fish's HP bar flashes red, the skills you have to use are reversed. This only happens on night fish.

hi, I have a question about fishing at night. I try to by all the night bait to fish and everytime i tried, the fish keep getting away, and i dont know why. I tried about 10- 15 baits and the fish still getting away. Anyone know why ? I am lvl 30 and lvl 10 fishing skill, as well as pumping and reeling

I tried all the night bait, but then... nothing work

as i heard from some friends night fishing is really hard and the pump and reeling is switch so you goto be really careful in when to reel and pump.

It could be that the fish have gotten "bored" of the fishing. I was fishing just to the right of your pic and after 16 or so fishes, they all kept getting away so I just moved spots. or maybe try /time to see if its still nightime.

But what I do with the fishing at night is just "reorganize" the hot bar a bit.

I use 4-6 for when the bar is blue, and when it turns red i just switch my hand position to the 7-9 keys so I dont have to think :P
So far after an hour of fishing, all the mats i got were 2 party hat,1 fairy antennae, and 2 angel wing mats (<--need 20 more yay :)) If any of you are on Gustin i'd gladly trade the party hat&fairy for lil angel wing mats :)

fishing in C5 is way harder then in C4.

before there was a slight delay between fish pumps and pulls on the timer.

also the timer went from 28 seconds to 25 seconds.

fishing in hot springs is very danting...and annoying you need alot of pacients.

Try using luminous bait for fishing at night ;)

It means you cannot fish with regular baits during the night? Only those luminiscense baits work?

I did use luminous baits, and still no fish.

I have yet to get any new materials from fish (with the exception of the new colored scales). So I don't know where to get the hat parts, antenae parts, etc...

But a few things I have noticed.

1) Fishing is quite a bit trickier than it was in C5 but it's still very easy.
2) As has been said in this thread, when the bar is blue, fish as you always have... when the bar is red, use the opposite skill. Took me a while to get used to but now I'm back to loosing only about 1 fish every 2 hours (I'm not counting the ones that never bite).
3) It seems that now you can fish a spot longer than in C4 without "emptying" that spot.
4) Once a spot is empty, you need to move more than you did in C4 befoore fish will bite again.
5) In the Hot Spings... I found that the springs can "emptied" very quickly and the only solution I found was to move springs often.

Does anyone know anything about the King Fisher Tournament?
I wanted to test it out on the PTS but from what I saw it never started.

um, anyone got drop from mobs caught when fishing? the c4 fishing guide says they _always_ drop, i havent got anything from them yet...

I've only gotten lures and fish shots from the mobs -in C4. I haven't fished in C5.

In C4 PTS I got the C grade Rod, fish shot, and lures.
In C4 I got lures.
In C5 I got lures.
