I was just curious if anyone else felt like C5 was released to early. Maybe to many kinks left to iron out such as: RBG's and Gate Keeper Cost. I know that there has to be more kinks out there, but these are the few I have encountered so far. This is just the first weekend it has been out. But anyway, please feel free to give me you input on the situation and list some other kinks you might have experienced so far. Peace and watch your back. :) :eek:
I know they were meant to be in the game. I did not think that some computer geek working for NC Soft fell asleep and hit the wrong button during the upload process. What I am saying is it cost a bloody fortune to buy the things in the game as it is. This increase in cost does not help. The new player that has a great time with the Newbie Guide will help is all well and good, but what then when his bank account is like almost zero because of everything being to expensive. And I don't know about everyone else but I don't have 5-10 to run between towns anymore. That might of worked in beta, but look and the map now...... lot bigger. And I am sure that the people that don't have a problem with the higher cost in the game have a good connection on E-Bay <wink, wink>. But for those of us that don't have daddy's credit card or make money hand over fist, we have to grind for the adena to spend it on SS or Bsps just to go grind some more to do it all over again........ see the cycle. And forget just tele to where you want to go cause you can't afford it you just bought new armor or new weapons you need. :(
And the RBG is just messed up for those that accually like to RBG, those that like to grind in the field like a bot, I am sure you feel no lose or pain at all. It was just simple question of did they release it to soon. Because if they would of asked if everyone wanted to pay higher GK fees, I think you would of said "no". But maybe I am wrong and you don't mind spending more adean to teleport to the same places you did for less adena in C4. Or having to go all around the world and Run have you night just to get to the field you want to hunt in that day, just to find out that Bots have taken it over and now you have to Run some more to find a new spot. Doing something about the Bots, that would of been a real improvement. Higher costs is what I expect to pay at the gas pump not in my video game. But anyway that is my opinion. I'm not sure the teleport cost is more then before, I think the only different is that they have added a "express teleport" system.
Take f.eks. if you go from Aden to Rune you can do it eiter by express = 39.000a or on rout Aden->Oren (6700a) -> Rune(10.000a) thus making the total teleport cost at 16.700a
he try to port fromGludin to Orc Village (every Healer has to go there for 2. class quest)
C4= 6000
C5=26000
and than u have to port back 26k aden again i say thats crasy
befor C5 u have spend around 1million when u have portet everywhere now the costs have explode and not to cound anymore
and u cant reach some places u could befor,
it isnt posibel to dircktly port from Giran to Hunters Village anymore, now u have to go Giran>Oren>Hunters Villag
or the new sleeping spell for low lvl caster totaly useless instead of making the reload time longer they make the casting time longer now the spell is totaly usless, than befor u have cast the spell ur dead
i dont say all C5 uptates are bad but i say that some are not realy thinked over
pls if some nc soft read this rethink the changes u have done to the game
If you manage to complete one part of the 2nd change quests before you need to do the major porting, you can always use the dimension diamonds and get town specific scrolls for the most remote areas.
Do you get dimension diamonds BEFORE the class change starts now? Because when I was doing BD quest in C4 on a non-newbie character, I got 24 diamonds AFTER the whole class change mess. Kind of pointless to get them after you need them.
(Sidenote: BD quest was the most annoying thing in L2 I had been ever doing. I liked SE quest very much, but BD ... bleah!)
Edit on sidenote: OK let's see what betrayal will BH quest bring.
I just did the 1st 2nd class change on C5 (pilgrim) and you still only get 8 diamonds AFTER you finish that quest. And some scrolls cost all 8 of those diamonds. And it sucks mightily that you can't port Orc/dwarf back to Gludin, you have to go to Gludio for 26, then 7800 to Gludin.
