Best Class for Dual Swords?

The more I play this game the more I wish I would have made a character with duels. Which class is the best to use them?I like playing Humans most of the time. My friend is a Blade Dancer so I don't want to follow in his footsteps too much. Thanks :)
only gladiator remains then

combat consists of charging skills and killing stuff :p
Cool thanks, good to know. Are they best in heavy armor?
cant say that i know for sure... but i dont see any reason why light would be better for a class like that. i would go with heavy :p maybe someone else can fill you on better
most glad use heavy tillum cause it adds +8% to atk speed, and they tend to use kesh*kesh +4 if they can afford them.(glads get heavy masterys)

makes them hella fast at chargeing and seting off their skills.
thanks for the info :)
And gladiators got boosted in C5, for more info on them perhaps ask these guys here more about gladiators, especially Diego Vargas, since he is an absolute Gladi fanatic. This particular thread concerns Gladi armors.

For PvE - Talum dual kesh*kesh +4

For PvP - Majestic and Kesh*dama +4

( or if you dont care about getting stunned, then you can jsut stick with the talum )
Humans arent as easily stunned as dark elves so majestic isnt really a must for them. The armor choices depend on the specific build really, but those two are something that you see pretty often :)
A -9 con Gladdie is still ganan be getting stunned if he doesnt have ( lion heart? Forgot what skill it was ) up.

What about the rare SwordSinger fighter?
Swordsinger isnt a dual wielding class as it lacks the masteries and skills concerning dual weapons. Only dual wielders by skill and mastery definition are Bladedancers and Gladiators. Tyrants are fist users so they dont belong to the group ;)
That's some good info :)
Im in DC light and have been pretty happy with it.

And I guess this chronicle its the best time to be a gladiator, with all the skills critting...its a whole new game for glads. TSS critted for 5900 on a mage(A grade) Blaster critted for 2300 on a SR... =^____^= good times ahead :)
I just hit D grade and I see so many combos for Duels. Which is best at D grade, C grade and B grade? What is the diffrnce between them or is there a place I can read about it?

Thank you

For D grade all that changes is the Patk and how they look when you hold them. Just pick the ones you like that have the top patk. (107 patk IIRC). If you can't afford the top right away (I know I couldn't) just buy a single handed sword and dual it later into the duals you want. On the other hand the only masteries that work with duals pre-40 are the mystics 'generic weapon' masteries, so even if you can afford the duals, you will be better off with a Claymore or other Top D instead of Duals if your not a mystic. (I would assume a healer...)

For C grade and higher beyond the obvious patk differences, there is also the matter of which SA the Duals recieve when you +4 them. (NOTE: They CAN break going to +4 on the enchant.) Many prefer a slightly lower than top dual for a better SA than going for the top patk, with a lesser SA. (Mostly C/B grades.) In A grade you really only have three choices...and one for S grade.

PLEASE NOTE: To dual the higher grade swords (B grade) you have to dual them in a specific town. (Each blacksmith will tell you which he can make.) The towns that craft the top duals are Oren, Aden and Giran. Some smiths take Stones of Purity as an additonal fee, others only accept dualsword craftstamps. (Stamps come from Castle Lords and their manor.) Be sure to research which you want...and which is more obtainable. (I don't have a good list for this right now.) For the A/S swords it is my understanding that only the Blacksmith of Mammon can make those dual swords. (I forget what his fee is exactly, but I'm pretty sure it involves A grade gemstones...which cost AA)

To see the full lists, try the sidebar here under Library->Items and Equipment->Weapons->Duals OR you could go to a site like stratics that might present the information to you in a easier to understand format.

crt duals or atk speed are the best ones... always get top of the line in them..

For C..kat*kat is nice

so for B grade it's: Sls*sls or tsu*sls.

A/g you got 3 but only 2 of them have worth wild SA's Kesh*kesh (+8% to atk speed), kesh*drama (+25% HP).

S/g is just one dual: +25% to CP, HP, MP.

Im a Battle Prophet 67lvl. I suggest you wear Tallum Heavy instead of DC Light. I changed mine DC Light for Tallum, and I have better stats now. Espessially in Att.Speed. P.Def.
What duals do you have? I think 985 in 74lvl is too low :-(

My B.Prophet has with full buffs :
P.attack 916
P.Def 820
Attack Speed 510

Im using a Kesh*Dam +9 and full Tallum Heavy.

PS : Nice dyes about +WIT -INT

waste of his money.. and 2 good slots for good tattoos...

remove and sell imo, those are useless now on a human fighter!

Useless? Why? Human Fighter only loses "damage of magic attacks and success rate of curse spells". Fighters dont use Magic Attacks, and do not play with curse spells :-P
So why its a mistake to increase resistance to Hold and resistance to curses? Besides that in Prophets +WIT gives (besides the resistances I told before) casting speed. So I think its a very good tatoo.
Takes something you really dont care, and gives you some things that maybe sometimes are useful to you/
umm cause you clearly didn't see the change from wit to men that C5 added...thats why.

it's a totally useless tattoo for a human fighter to have...before it helped some for resistence to sleep (hold to?), now it's just a waste of money thats to be made.
I couldnt find that.
plz give us a link.

thats what I'm at with semi full buffs + war cry and Duelist Spirit. I usually run around with a BD and with dances the p.atk is around 1700 (with a strength pot that drops the p.atk is 2k O.o)and atk speed in the 700s. When I get back from work i'll take another shot with the BD. I was actually in Tallum before but ditched it for the dc light. Guess I can borrow it from my bud again to see that stats again. Im using +8 keshes btw.

About the dyes, had em since c3 but i guess they had to go and remove the usefulness of them in C5. Since the dyes were dirt cheap in the shop so I just picked them up. And they are still on cause i gotta pay to take them off :P Plus Im actually happy about the stats the way they are. Dont want to lose more con or dex so im gonna leave it as is. Also, can the mages still use the +con -str dyes?
very good stats. Try Tallum to see the difference.

Its sad that you cant use these stats in Olympiad....
