Why oh why..? Every time I die I drop something. If I've read correctly the chance to drop in C5 has been lowered and dropping equipted items should be almost zipp now, but still...
So far I dropped my weapon (not equipted) once, lots of misc. items and today I dropped my +6 Salamanderskin armor :( I was lucky and able to retrieve it (with the help of some clannies), but still... I dropped once more and this time some equipted item.
And it's not that I have a high PvP/PK score (both still 0/0). Guess I'm just VERY UNLUCKY..
Dropping equipped items (except your weapon) is just as likely as dropping non-equipped items. I don't remember reading in the patch notes that the chance was lowered at all. If you do a search, you'll see that there is a lengthy discussion about this very topic at least once a week.

Dying sux, had a clannie dropping his tallum armour today. But long live the bsoe, sure its exp but when u have a shot of losing a crapload of money ill take the bsoe anytime.
I think I drop about 2 or 3 pieces of armor a week. But then again I do die a lot..
What sucks is dropping your +5 doom leather in the middle of aggro. You don't have much choice other than to kamikaze your way in there and hope you can get it before setting off your bsoe.
You should all stop whining about droppnig armor and everything, and try to pursuade NCsoft to leave it as it is.

Sure it is a pain when you drop your magical pants or whatever, but thats kind of the risk you took when you tried to take on the whole catacomb by yourself...

So...a server crashes while in a fight with a mob and you die and drop your 100 mil helm. You finally get back on, only to see that your helm ninja'd on ya. Yes, the change helps bots and farmers...yes, that aspect sucks. But it also helps legit players keep their hard earned gear. Personally, I busted my hump doing that manor system to get enough money for my gear, and I don't wanna lose it to a crash or to lag. Btw, thanks for the heads up about not dying so much ;)
