What to do in Coin of Magic Quest?

OK, I've talked to NPC Sorint, I've killed the Harit mobs and gotten the Gold Dragon and givem it to Sorint, and I think I'm now supposed to work on level 3 membership. I'm not sure about this last point. And I definitely do not know what next to do. Could somebody explain to me exactly what I do from here onward? FYI, I read what was in Stratics. That was pretty confusing also. Thanks for any help.
When you kill certain mobs, given below, they drop 1 or 3 different types of coin. These coins can be traded with various npcs around the map (see stratics for a list of npcs that you can trade with and their locations) to give you other types of coins. These coins can then be used to buy items or increase your membership level.

So, for example, if you kill timak orcs they will drop blood medusa coins. If you take 20 of these to magister page in hunters village you can swamp them for a ninas blood medusa, if you take 10 to researcher lorain you can swamp them for a blood drevanul. If you collect some gold wyvern coins you can swamp 10 with magister page for a gold knight and 10 with keeper haggart for a gold drake.
If you collect 2 nina's blood medusas, 2 blood drevanuls, 2 gold drakes, 3 gold knights you can exchange these for a moonstone earring.
As well as getting items you can increase your membership level by collecting and exchanging coins.

When exchaning coins you can either give them a set number of gamble. Gambling used to be rubbish and you lost alot more than you won. Have not done it recently so not sure if they have improved it at all.

stratics should give you a list of all the coints that you require for exchaning, upgrading your membership and buying items

Gold Wyvern:
Timak Orc (Timak Orc Camp - Around Catacomb of Apostate)
Shackle (Dragon Valley)
Headless Knight (Dragon Valley)
Royal Cave Servant (Dragon Valley)
Malruk Succubus Turen (Dragon Valley)

Silver Unicorn:
Vanor Silenos Shaman
Oel Mahum (Bandit Stronghold)
Oel Mahum Warrior (Bandit Stronghold)
Tarlk Bugbear High Warrior (Around Ivory Tower)
Formor(South of Ivory Tower)
Formor Elder(South of Ivory Tower)

Blood Medusas:
Timak Orc Soldier (Timak Orc Camp - Around Catacomb of Apostate)
Timak Orc Archer (Timak Orc Camp - Around Catacomb of Apostate)
Timak Orc Shaman (Timak Orc Camp - Around Catacomb of Apostate)
Lakin (South and East of Hunter's Villiage)
Punishment of Undead (In The Cemetary)
Hatar Hanishee (Around The Cemetary)
Is the list of mobs that drop coins changed in any way since C5? Not a long list really.. :(

thanks
N
Yes, it has changed now
Mobs at dev castle drop em, ones from vos, and so do the 1/2 hp mobs outside goddard.

Not sure if any others do.

Now if there were more mobs dropping kali coins would be worth doing for the recs:-)
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Coins of Magic

A list of monsters that drop coins has been added.
The quest has been changed to a party-type; therefore all party members who are conducting the quest may gain coins.

Thanks for all the help. By the way, the drop rate seems very low. I went out and kilied maybe 250 Timak Orcs (of various types, warrior, archer, shaman, etc) and got just 2 coins.

'Drop' rate on coins is a bit weird at times. But you should have gotten a bit more than 2 every 250. I think 1 every 15-20 on average isn't too farfetched. Sometimes you can go quite a while before you get one, other times you may get a few in a row.

Also, keep in mind not *all* the Timak orcs give coins. The Troop leaders are definate no's IIRC, and pretty sure the shamans and overlords don't either. The 'Timak Orc' and the Warrior/Soldier/Archer I'm pretty sure give them though...it's been awhile since I have done those mobs, so definately double check the quest list in game to be sure. (My site references to this quest don't appear to be up-to-date at this time.)
