WHY ARE ALL THE SERVERS DOWN?

I just got back after 1 year of playing Lineage, and I supposedly downloaded Chronicle 5 through the PTS. Now, when I log in the game, all the servers are down save Bartz, and no1 is online :P It seems suspiciously like a test server still...does anybody have any idea why this is happening or what I could do to solve the problem? Thanx in advance for any suggestions!

You're on the test server. You'll hae to download the live game client instead.

Ok, thanx. I was afraid of that :P Thx for the help tho!

Or you can down load the PTS to Live conversion patch
HERE (ftp://l2clientdownload.lineage2.com/liveconversion/PTStoLiveconversion.zip)

Hope thats helps you out.

Thx a lot Mame...thats a lot better like this. Its started to patch itself, and that shd be faster than downloading the nearly 3GB chronicle 5 :) Gl in game!

No problem :)
It should be faster this way, just remember to do a 'Check Files' once it has updated to help prevent any problems.

That'd be a little creepy...knowing thousands of people play the same game you do...and not seeing anyone anywhere...

L2 ghosts.

Oh yeah...I can imagine it. Some noob player logs on to that server, wonders where everyone is in this popular game that he or she's heard so much about, goes up to ghost-like figure of a man...promptly gets whacked and killed, and then tries to message the "ghost" after figuring out how to send tells...then wondering why it's not working or if the "person" hates them. :p

I actually got the DL from fileplanet. It was much faster in my opinion then downloading it directly from NCsofts client. But, it doesn't matter as long as you get in ^^. Good luck with that.

I'd hate to wake up one day in L2 and find that I'm hearing all the sell chat spam from giran only to see NO ONE there...now that'd be freaky.

A lineage 2 version of the Matrix: "There are no sellers...then you will realize it is only yourself trying to sell things to you..."

-Aielwyn: Hey Aielwyn, can I buy that soulbow for 1a even though you're advertising it for 100m?

Aielwyn: Sure thing Aielwyn, anything for you <3.

-Aielwyn: Awww, thanks hon, you're so sweetie ^^.

Be careful of those Aielwyn scammers...they may try to sell you those bone helmets we were talking about in that other post...
