Hello, I've been in wastelands for about 2 hours now trying to Herod to spawn for the Trial of Duty potion of the quest. Does anybody know of any guides or anything for the quests or can possibly fill me in on what I have to kill exactly? Thanks for any help. :)
IIRC you have to kill the 'Quest Monster' Skeletons and make sure to get the killing blow with the sword you were given to get the Ghost to spawn. (I think it took me about 20-30 kills to get it to spawn.)
And unless I am completely mistaken, there are two 'Quest Monster's in the wateland, both of the skeleton type, but only one is the correct mob for this quest. One is called "Skeletal Mercenary" and this is the WRONG mob if I am remembering correctly.
Do you remember the othere mobs name? I've been killing the skele mercs, and then skeleton raiders but they dont have "Quest Monster" over their heads. :/
The guide is a bit incomplete. The mobs are the tracker skeletons and tracker skele archers, NOT the skeletons marked Quest Monster (different quest) AND... you have to kill about 100 of them for the spirit to appear. Note, you only have to kill the skeleys with the crummy sword, you can get them close to dieing with better weapons..
"Tracker" might be "Mercenary" but it is not the "Quest Monster" ones.
