Shopping areas

Player Questions Started Last reply 12 posts
I was looking through the guide section and searching the forums, as well as other sites, and couldn't find a nice breakdown of where to shop for different levels of items. Also, I've noticed that most private shops in Dion sell D grades and Giran (I think that is it) sells a lot of A's and B's. Are these the only towns private shops are set up anymore?

Mainly I don't want to be wasting a ton of money bouncing around to all the towns to figure out what is where. A little selfish, I know, but meh :)

So if anyone can point me to a nice site or guide that breaks things down based on where players can find what types of items (both NPC sellers and private shops) it would be appreciated!

Thanks, happy hunting!
Basically Dion and Giran are where most the private shops are located.

NPC's only sell d grade gear, except in Giran where you can purchase low c grade gear at the luxury shop for d and c crystals. You can, then again, use those low c grade items and upgrade them at blacksmith of mammon for better c grade gear.

All in all, to shop, stick to Giran and Dion. You'll find pretty much anything you want between the two towns. Perhaps not right away, but everything eventually hits the market.
Id say
Starter towns, gludin, gludio, oren, rune, goddard and guessing schuttgart desolate as hell.
Dion mainly dgrade armours and weapons some c grade but often overpriced.
Hunters village mainly ss and bsps and not to forget alot of crappy SB.
Aden ss n bsps also some people selling expensive brez and bsoe.
That leaves giran where u can pretty much find anything and sometimes pretty sweet deals, also has alot of buy stores and crafters.

To sum it up u looking for d grade stuff go to dion or shout in varius towns maybe u get lucky.
If u looking for everything else go to giran, pretty much has everything c - s grade and a lot more.

A final tip make 1 - 2 toons who gonna be your windowshopping toons log one in dion resp. giran, btw unless u LF d grade stuff can almost not bother with the one in dion. And pick the race with most dex for them since its a long way from the starter towns to run, and a freaking anoyance to watch the toon run with a speed of 100 while browsing.

Hope it helps a little atleast.

The speed is not quite needed; I'd rather just make dwarves if you happen to need them later to sell stuff. Every race gets a quest which gains them a SoE to Giran at level 3. Use it on both toons, buy a normal SoE with one of them, run the northern path until you hit Dion territory, SoE to Dion. No running through aggro mobs and vast stretches of land necessary.
Well, I've heard it said that you can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant. Have you tried there?
Ah thats right totally forget about that quest, but then the running isnt even a issue and dont name his butt sddsfjkfs give your shopping toon a real name, just hate those kinda names.
