Who here thinks a hero should add to a clans reputation points???
you dont have to be in a CLAN to be a Hero so why would ncsoft allow hero's to add Clan Points ???
you dont NEED a clan to become hero , it just helps.
I Say NO MORE POINTS FOR HERO STATUS . there is no logical way to allow the people we allready know havent played the game the way it was intended to now get more ... we have hero's jumpin clans now, each event period to get the clans in the biggest ch-xx-ter alliances to lvl6 clans??? how is this Fair to the other players ... its bad enough they allready take all the raid boss's before anyone else and get points for that . why the added HERO crud for clan points?
Those same people can PL a noob from 1-40 in a day or so and get about 400 points. Is that unfair too? Any one can do that.
I mean don't get me wrong, I think the hero thing in all aspects is stupid beyond belief. I just dont' see why they shouldn't get points.

Look. It's true that for the most part, you don't need a clan to become a hero. I am sure that there are clans that were instrumental in helping the player get to higher lvls, subclass High lvl gear ( I wouldn't have my SOM if it wasn't for my clanmates) etc.
But that is not why you are getting points for having a hero. Apparently, you are getting points because it is an asset to have one. The more heroes one has in their clan the more "hefty" it is in value.
And one could look at it this way. The clan is of such merit as to attract players who strive for these types of rewards.
This game is about striving. Is it always fair? No, of course not. How many of us have started alts or buff toons and twinked them out. How many academies are adding alts which they can twink and lvl quickly.
It is what it is. So, if one has a clan where one of your members becomes hero, people are going to complain? No, of course not. Just accept the points... maybe they will go to another clan next time.
