Yesterday, I was involved in raids that killed 4 bosses. Two 60's, and two 65's. These raid bosses are hard, and more importantly, very lethal. When minions respawn, they aggro on someone almost at random, we had nukers get 1 and 2 shotted by respawns. One of the raid bosses decided to spend a minute whaling away on my level 56 sws who wasn't attacking, but only sang. How this got aggro from nukers 10 levels higher is beyond me. But anyway.
Ok, so raids are now dangerous. But look at the rewards. Who the hell dreamed up the idea of trading life crystals for equipment? This is a joke. Between the 4 bosses we got 1 Egg of Earth. ONE. A c-grade helmet in dion takes 70 of these life crystals. SEVENTY? Our non-scientific efforts would mean you'd need to kill almost 300 a-grade bosses to get 1 c-grade helmet. Why the hell was this system even put in the game? (and why are only helmets listed in dion?).
In conclusion, raids are exciting, risky, and expensive. Much more so than in c4, yet the rewards from the bosses has not changed at all. Given the current system, except to get items for clan buffs, why would you ever go raiding?

i agree with you for the time you need to invest it isn't really worth anymore for that kind of reward.
to answer your last question; each town gives diffrent rewards for the life crystals ;)
did a boss yesterday, Ember in the forge of gods.. its 85, lol, but we never got a single crystal... though we did get 57 or somesuch drac leather boot mats... so the crystals dont even have to drop all the time... makes things with the crystals even better eh? lol
I watched a raid farmer party do von hellmann (or whatever his name is) in forest of the dead yesterday and they got 5 skull of the dead A grade and some dragon slayer edges. They were 4 or 5 nuker parties I think and took 6-7 deaths.
I would assume if anything, we'll see a drop once people figure out how to get at the spoils for A Grade helmets. ;p But I guess it's time to wait it out and see.

You are wrong. Egg of Earth is one of the life crystals used to buy items from the adventurers guide. Go to dion, and talk to the guide about getting various helmets.
Bosses do still drop both parts and full drops. We got DC leggings. My point in the above post is 1) life crystals drop so rare that they will only be used for clan skills and the system for getting gear from them is worthless, and 2) bosses drop basically the exact same thing as in C4, but are much harder and much more dangerous.
There are two Trampled Men, and there are two Slaughtered Executioners. There are two types of Vampire Wizards, I'm not sure about Magicians, but in the light of everything else, it would make sense if there was a second here, too.

Time to review this thread a bit.
Spent the last 2 days hunting in The forest of the dead to confirm if I can get some of this A grade recipe spoils from the drop list we got befor.
The list says that Slaughter Executioner spoils Tallum Stocking recipes.
Thers is also 2 form of Slaugher Executioners, one with 5 skills/icons or how to name it and another one with 9, both of them got identical spoils, and I got them all
Sealed Phoenix Ring 70% Recipe
Leather mail of doom design
Blue Wolf leather armor texture.
And thats all what it spoils, as I doubht they added an '4th' spoil to some odd numbers of monsters.
I can also confirm that the drop list of recipes is valid thoght who was on teh same list so far, can confirm 3 out of 3 at least, guess we gonna need to wait and see ^^.
I'm gona test some other monsters from now on to make sure they spoil at all, and if not, all I can say, it was all an hoax, or that we aint geting it in NA. Maby becose of the we know what problem, or duno what reason.
Checking the unmentionable website with 100% accurate drop/spoil information (so long as the information is obtained in the first place), there are no A grade armor recipe spoils what-so-ever. Drops, yes, they've all been confirmed already, but no spoils at all. The charts dont even show the recipes as being spoilable.
If Korea got it, we sould eventually get it. For some reason, I believe that the world servers are always going to be behind the Korean servers. So any patches they get on thier official servers, will not be seen here right away.
