Did discover something quite scarry soem days ago while I tried doing seeds. Seeding have ben extreamly changed.
It's now a magic skill, can be interupted, and for a dwarf is a darn slow cast with really big chans to get interupted, I play I even have acumen and Consentration it helps a bit still not enought.
Manor have always ben the highest income in every choronicle since it got added, sure I can stilll easely pull in 5m with my dwarf on 2-3 hours in a day, but any mage class now can easely do the double of me over the same time.
I can't seed every mob befor either, every seocond mob is who get seeded becose the recast timer is also nasty long for dwarven classes.
I belive this also apply for most melees in general, but since dwarves where supose to be the bigest money maker ingame, they seem to fall behind all the time. C5 is nothing new to this.
Edit: I should add, if I even spoil the mobs, it will end up in about 4 sec casting time between both spoil and seed, most mobs dont even survive that long so you gonna need to chose one, spoil, OR seed.
Yeah I noticed this too. I was seeding Varka Silenos mobs with my Spellhowler and it is very slow even though I had about 700 cast speed. I was also interrupted several times out of about 5 attempts to seed and I have DC robe set and Concentration 6 buffs. Needless to say I quit seeding since I would get hit about 3 times during the 'sow' operation which is way too dangerous with those mobs when solo.
Why did NCSoft believe seeding needed to be changed?
dang I have been seeding and thought I was going insane! Anyway, mages never get close enough to seed anyway. Seeding should be totally patk speed dependant just like spoil speed. I actually agree on you with this point for once lol.
To many people complaining about 3rd party programs doing and turning in the seeds. Now they wont get these complaits, cause like many things in this game, you need to be a slave and give up the next month of your life to get something.
If people wont do it, there wont be complaints. How often do you see complaints about the A armor recipe quest in Giants Cave? You dont, cause any normal human will not do this quest.
You just need to think like NCsoft. If people complain, dont fix it for them, that is to hard to make it balanced for all, just make it **** near impossible for them.
I noticed that too, seeding on my boxed Rogue. I was pretty much surprised when I got interrupted. But I got used to it somehow. Does concentration and acumen really help seeding? That's a bit stupid, giving dagger concentration buff, when they are fully meelee class. But whatever.
Only thing I really lack is some notification when seed is ready to be sown. When you seed, the icon should become dark and transition to normal clockwise, like every other skill or buff icon does.
Reminder to self: Alternative cobols are worst money sink ever done while manoring. Bought 100 chillys yesterday to try them out, been seeding them on cata mobs (4x HP, normal seeds rarely fail and harvest 4-5 fruits). From 100 cobols I received 11 fruits. When they fail on 4x HP mobs, what would they do on normal field ones???
Correct me when I am wrong, but I stoped seeding cause I never got a chance to trade the crobs back. If you are not trading them just in the second the system is renewed you wait months. Is that still so?
I am not sure. I handed *FINALLY AFTER 3 WEKKS* 2k of chillys right during the night C5 went live, so not many people were on.
Haven't been seeding chillys yet, but I guess it's still too hard.
