Drop chance and "blue" player name

I'v never used much time to gain the blue player name by using recommendations, but now some ppl in my clan tell me that a blue/dark blue player name will decrease the risk of dropping items when dying.

Can anyone confirm this?(Mistryl maybe :) )

It's not true however people with blue names are better than you.

:).... even the one with white... hell even RED names are better then me :)
