i dunno what to do .. can anyone help me if they know
i log on to lineage and get all the way to the part of the toon i choose to and it starts .. i mean the game starts for about 22 seconds.. and critical err happens .... bad name index -12/10267.... has any one else had to deal with this and howd you fix it
im at my wits in.. i can not log in anymore.. it wont let me know matter what toon i choose.. how can i get back .. thanks for your help
Instead of deleting the system folder, you might want to try this instead....
Go to the "\Lineage II\iwo" folder and there should be a file for each of your chars here. The format is "<Name>_<Server>.dat"
Just move the files with your characters names to another location (Like the recycle bin!) and try to restart the game again. (This should leave some oddly number-named files in the folder.)
A guy in my ally has a real problem with critical errors and has tried everything he (and support) can think of. Unfortunately, it seems to be his system. He uses an Nvidia graphics thing I think, can't remember exactly I'll get back to you.
He's had the problem since about a month before C5. It has recently got worse. It appears as though very little can be done in terms of software altering to fix it- some PCs just don't agree with it. Short of buying a new PC/graphics card/driver I don't know what to suggest- I appreciate that option isn't open to everyone.
Otherwise good luck... and I wouldn't recommend sticking your character programming in the recycle bin...
