Ok first let me say I'm still new to this type of Game. I only have one char a lvl 39 DE. Ok now for the stupid question. Can some one plz explain how the basic stats effect the char? I get that the higher STR the higher the damage per hit. I think that the higher the INT the more often spells will work. But how does CON, DEX,MEN, and WIT effect my char? I've been through both boards the last three days and havent found anything about it that didnt make me more confused. I'm old ya see and my mind isnt all there. :eek: Any help understanding how all this works would be great. Thankx
INT = everything that has to do with landing of curses and M Attk
STR = Higher P Attk
CON = anything that has to do with HP, CP, P Def and Stun Resist
DEX = attack speed, critical rate, runspeed, evasion, accuracy
MEN = MP, M Def, MP recovery, resistance to debuffs and such
WIT = casting speed, and magical crit rate
Ok lets see if I got this right then. The higher my CON the less likely I am to be stuned and the higher my max HP CP and P def will be. Is that the jest of it? Or the basic low down on how the stats work. Thankx alot for your input. I feel kinda stupid for asking but thats the way it goes. :p
Alright, let me try this.
INT = more damage per spell = M Attk. Higher rate of success for curses such as sleep haste ect.
CON = anything that effects the total of my HP/CP be it for the good or bad. As well as the effects of stun or blooding. The higher my CON the better my max HP/CP will be. The more resistance to stun ect.
DEX = Quicker attacks as well as how often I'll hit with said weapon. As well as how often I'll give crit damage.
MEN = How much my max MP and MP Def will be. As well as how quick I recover said MP, and resistance to debuffs will be higher, the higher my MEN.
WIT = How fast I'd be able to cast a spell and how often said spell would crit.
Based on the theory of the higher the stat in any given one the better the effects for that stat will be. The lower the stats the worse the effects of said stats will be.
Basicly I want to know if my thinking on these stats is right. Say if I wanted to be a Wizard, I'd want to use a race with higher INT and WIT. Or if I wanted to be a Figher type, I'd want a race with better STR and DEX. I know,stupid questions, but like I said I'm new to this type of game. These boards have been really helpfull and thankx for all your replies.
