honestly i was glad to see the advert. it came in the NCsoft news letter, but saddly Guild Wars: Night fall had top bill. :(

So they are offering the C1, C2, C3, C4 game clients along with the C5 client? :)

Splatter, I think you need more sleep.

They are essentially marketing a new L2 box in time for the holidays and advertising that it has all the expansions. Just marketing.

Excuse me but ... ummm ... we get expansions for free and those old chronicles are outdated and useless. Or they are meant to be for free servers that are running on older chronicles? :p

I would like some memory thingie with it, like t-shirt, nice posters, collection of stickers, comicbook. some cardgame or pexesso with L2 pictures, mini statues of characters ... oh well I can dream.

Well, at least those boxes will be on shelves ... maybe ... somewhere in US ... yet people will complain they cannot get boxes or timecards :p

Well, that's the thing, it's just a marketing gimmick.

In reality it's just a repackaging of L2 but you don't have to download all the updates.

I know that title saying Get game and all 5 expansions for only 29.9
is more appealing from marketing point of view than
Game continues! Enjoy already 5th expansion of the game ...
But I somehow got the feeling it is still not enough. I am too pesimistic probably on some topics here :(
