I take it you downloaded it from fileplanet......

Did you extract the files from within the zip file before running the install?

Lifeforce Sep 21, 2006, 5:28 PM #4

ya, i did, well... it kinda messed up the extraction.. but the setup file and the data1 and data2 files came out alright

Could you go into a bit more detail? In what way did it kinda go [censored]?

Lifeforce Sep 21, 2006, 5:38 PM #6

sorry (*'_')
what i meant is i clicked extract all files and then id see the bar go about 3/4 of the way to the end and then window would freeze and when i hit the X button it gave me the 'file is not responding' message and i had to end task.
im not sure if this is the problem though because the set up seems to work fine, other then asking me for a disc >>

What program are you using to unzip the file and what version is the program?

Lifeforce Sep 21, 2006, 5:47 PM #8

im not quite sure, i just went into the folder and clicked on 'Extract all files' under 'Folder Tasks' and it brings up an Extraction Wizard.. im not sure if its unzipping as much as exctracting now .. im not very computer literate :X

I would say your using the windows xp extraction wizard.....

Try extracting it one more time, this time give it more time.... Your extracting 2 gigs of data.
