Trying to get some clear info on clan rep points. We've been moving people through academy and trying to figure out how many points you get per level in the academy.
We've had people join at 39 at 99% click class change and get 1%. They earn 170 points. We've done the same thing but added in the armor quest, still got 170 points. From 1 - 40 we get 400 points.
Our best guess based on what we've seen is 170 points for class change. 5.75 points per level. We have had some go through that dont add up right though. Someone joined at 25, did armor quest and graduated. He earned 310. That puts his points per level at 9.33
So anyone got a firm answer on amount of points earned for different things. Or a link?
Here is a patch note from a Chronicle 5 patch on the PTS (before live launch) that might explain this a little:
Reputation points were adjusted for helping Academy members to graduate the Academy successfully. The reputation points earned for helping Academy members to graduate successfully has been increased to 170 points for characters that have joined a clan at level 39 or above. For example, when a character level 39 or above joins the clan and graduates the Academy, the clan obtains 170 reputation points. If a character level 16 or below joins the clan and graduates the Academy, the clan obtains 400 reputation points.
I thought so too, but we had someone join at 23 and get 300 points. Also if joining at level 15 doesnt give you more points than joining at level 1, it wouldnt be 10 points per level. Would be something around 9.2 I guess.
400 total points
170 for class change at 40
130 points for levels (since only 16 - 40 give points)
130points / 25levels = 9.22
But it still doesnt add up for the people we've put through academy.
To get the max of 400 points:
170 + 230 = 400
230points /10 points per lvl = 23 levels
lvl 39 - 23 lvls = lvl 16
So you have to be lvl 16 or lower to get the 400 point max. A person who starts at lvl 1 gets the exact some amount (400) as a person who starts at lvl 15, or even lvl 16.
You can't go off of the # points per level, because the equation doesn't work that way.
