Night Fishing

Okay...since I posted about not seeing alot of C-5 gear and accessories on the servers, I decided to give fishing a shot to try to get the goggles I so desire. I take up night fishing so I can have a better chance of getting some of the needed scales. I was very disappointed to find out that according to the In-game time clock, 8:00PM is still daytime and night only starts at 12:00am-6:00am. Has it always been this way? If it has, I'll just take it as it is. No sense changing the game now if this has always been the norm. If this is a new change since C-5 however....

It kinda sucks...

Da Smookster...
for every RL hour two in game hours pass, this has always been the case. Same thing for night being from 12a to 6a. I guess Aden is on a very nothern lattitude.
i think an hour is actually 10 mins rl time, not able to check atm, but it always used to be that.
An hour game time is more like 25 minutes or so...

the length of night time needs to be increased though.. 6 "hours" isnt long enough unless you live on the north pole. Its about 4-5 buff rounds fishing for a full night of fishing..
Yup.. A game day = 4 RL hours.. So basically when I play I grind for 3 hours, SOE, fish for one hour, rinse, repeat..
I'm getting close to crafting the antennas and the angel wings.. Next step, pimp hat..
good luck man! I know a easy way for lowbies to make some serious cash. Have them fish the Jade colored scales. These scales are really hard to get and I know i'm willing to actually buy them. You need these for the feathered hat.... : (
yep real hours is 1 day ingame, every 6 hour is 1 hour.

Night time only last 1 real hour, from 00.00 to 06.00 ingame.
The problem is of course that on some modern machines, the ingame clock is all messed up and doesn't display the right times :(
In game clock being the map, /time or both?
Night has always been this way (dawn victory). Dusk victory extends it. Dawn victory shortens it. Neither yields...well no change. 6 to 1 ratio on all time in game vs in real life.
