I just wonder how these peeps make it in RL. I mean, with the stupidity that people display, how can they still be alive in RL ?
My answer would be because people display utterly unbeleivable idiocy while being on the Internet.
Mind yourselves, the more attention you attract on yourself, the higher you will fall from if you are caught. The Devil, as a Fallen Angel, should know about this.
It's a great shame to see this. I mean, did you really think you could cheat at a game with The Devil ?
Good grief, please think twice before you post anything or do anything weird, they have detailed records about everything.
I'm sure he's talking about the overall stupidity people can achieve, but I know at least one specific event he is referring to. He must have a high tolerance for the Stupids to just be bringing this up now. It's been really hard to restrain myself sometimes :)
Maybe he'd like people to share some Stupid moments that he may have missed. Know one ever knows for sure do they?

Been reading DMs posts for over 2 years, it's not that he doesn't make sense it's just that he's always quoting some obscure thing or another and porpusefully being vague. This is why I don't ask the Devil directly cause the Devil always says what he doesn't mean. Since fingers have been pointed I'm going to sleep and leave anyone actually bothering with a final thought. if

There is no end to stupidity, just as you think you saw/heard the dumbest thing in the world, soon someone always takes that to the next level beyound what you might have though had been possible, then someone tops that, etc and so the process continues...

Or if your bus service is the type that pulls up for 15m ins and waits, then yeah, its a logical question to ask when does the 5 o'clock bus leave, because 5 o'clock is when it should pull up, of course, unless its early.

really, i have wondered this too. after much digging, i have managed to find out that Luke is not really "alive" per se, by the classic definition of the word. he has had his brain cryogenically frozen, and his thoughts are posted on the internet via a computerized interface known as the DGQ. he hasnt leveled past 73, because he physically does not have the ability to play the game. he simply posts.
No doubt somone posted a screenshot and it showed someone using a cheat. I remember someone asking a question and posting a screenshot of his character. Of course, what he failed to remember (or realize) is that being able to see the hit points of your fellow chracters is not "part of the game". Apparently DM discovered just such a post (or something similiar)

Reasoning logically, one of you ("We're talking about someone who get caught cheating due to his/her own stupidity") and jkoster ("We won't tell you what we're talking about") is wrong. If jkoster is right, the thread doesn't belong in here. If you are right, you failed to provide meaningful information to the forum users, and without it this thread is a waste of space.
seems everyone has taken a 'grumpy' pill today.
It should be okay to post whatever is valid to you. It should also be okay for others to post that they don't appreciate what you thought.
The worst part of these boards imo is when thoughts and disagreements are dismissed.
Name calling and nastiness are the end of reasonable discourse.
I'm guessing there's room on these boards for all the varied opinions and reactions to same.

I typed a 'trade' message the other day in giran. the message 'spilled over' by a couple of characters into a third line. I don't know why. It's never happened before. I typed something like:
+lf ws w 100% dama sword loaded 4 private creation. I have mats. paying 1mill. 4 own use/not resale pm me
Or something to that effect--anyway it seems it was over allowed character total. Some helpful person immediately typed a whisper to me:
"drakkos, if you keep typing over character limit they'll know ur using '[removed]'(?).."
I don't have any add on's on my game play. Wouldn't even know how.
It was curious that someone thought i was using a cheat (and presumably my chat is evidence that i did). But I wasn't using a cheat--don't have one. I don't even know what "[removed]" (i'm trying to remember and not sure if that's what he called it) is!
I thought it was just a fluke--or maybe something in my message didn't get counted as a character.
Still, others could "prove" i cheated--and they would be wrong.

I remember the numbnuts that did this for the orc zerg screen shot. He got called on it and never showed his ugly face on the forums again. :D
