Just wondering if anyone had a cast time calculator or just a rough lvl based cast time formular. I just got nailed by a mage who im guessing was 15+ lvls higher than i was, and was almost instant casting. Would be nice to know what gear and spells can do, even a race. Its not fun to be kited around the room and having no real way of getting close. Maybe i should make a caster.
Warcryer has a silly cooldown on spells, even with light armor and masterys. Does this get any better? 6 second cast can be the end of a duel very easy. My orc misses spells a LOT, so 6 seconds could be 6 casts for a human.
anyway, any info would be amazing. im sick of my crappy melee damage, and sick of getting griefed by mages. Knowing i have no chance of actually beating them 1:1 maybe its time to think up another game plan.
Maybe Monk and beat them at their own game. Cripple and fast cast times would make casters useless im sure.
If you whant to fight mages you better get robes with + cast speed (ava, bw, DC, tallum). Tatoos and wearpon for cast speed might help too =)
Oh, and our mele damage is not crappy! Today in the rift Rb whent after me about as many timers as he did after the HE 3 lvls above me.
As my toon is like 16, he has no fast casting spells. With a robe his casts are 5.5 seconds. With heavy armor they are close to 5.9 seconds. Not a huge ammount, but when some guy can cast 2-3 spells to your one, theres not much hope.
Only way it's gonna change is when you have a weapon with an Accumen (special ability), Robes that Increase Casting Speed and Buffed with Accumen buff.
Even with all those things, you'll still cast slower than the rest of the Nukers/Casters.
before level 65, elf > orc.
after level 65, orc > elf.
around level 456, dwarf > elf (purely speculation based on closest-fit curve analysis*)
hope that clears it up. prepare to be owned in PvP for the next 49 levels, write down everyones name so that at level 70 you can get them back.
*note to self. new dream job: curve analysist.
no comparrison really. for the pictures you gave, the elf is a hero and they have different equipment. what i said was orc > elf. and what i meant was orc > elf. not orc mystic casting speed > elf mystic casting speed. they have different skill sets and playstyles and base stats (so you will never have a faster casting speed than an elf nuker, of similar equipment and level). but orcs in general pwnzor elves in endgame.

Only becose if you crit, you have a chans to get the boss to be pulled to you with a low chans, dosnt need to be a high damage crit.

Well, then.. ermm. Then I can tank in robes a yellow con RB in :D . Under heals of Bish, SE, SpS, spaming hp pots and kitting :o
