When people speak about having a second toon as a buffbot, do they mean they are basically leveling 2 toons at the same time? Or are they using a high level buffer and following their lower level character around?
I ask this being new to the game...The lower level areas a sooo empty of people to group with that I was concidering leveling a mystic>Prophet along side my archer via 2 boxing..
I am still under level 20 so I want to make a wise decision before I get to high in level. Is leveling 2 same level toons in this manner worth it?
Normally people refering to a toon as being a "buffbot" they are most of the time refering to a high lvl buffer that follows them around to help them power level. These high level buffers are on the persons second account.
However, these buffpets have to get high level somehow....
Most people will play 2 toons at the same time (fighter and buffer) and level them together (the first time around). Then if they ever deceide to start a new player, they will be able to use their buffpet to level them.
Yes leveling your archer and buffer at the same is worth it. Its what most people do. You deffinatly want to play both your toons at the same time in a duo.
Thanks for the replies! I will level them at the same time then. From what I have read, it seems a prophet is the way to go as a buffer for a hawkeye? I am brand new to this game and know very little. I realize the game is a bit older and wont have many people to run around with for awhile, so I want to make good choices early on. I am on Lionna btw
depends, haste 2 and the other skills are excellent. As long as you have a cheapshot bow it is best. If you would run out of mp you would want a recharger but since that shouldnt be that big of a problem the prophet is your best bet. Plus no wasting money on pots after 52 i think
Ive leveled with a few archers.
They all swear that a Prophet buffs are great. They have haste, zerc and other nice buffs.
SEs... well Im asuming that the last poster know what they are talking about if they are lvl 70+, but I still think youd be better off with a prophet spamming a few health pots here and there if the prophet can heal you enough.
