SWS Vs TK which class should i take my alt

SWS, TK is designed to be a tank and has some fun stuff, but really cant do the thing its designed to do.

I think you will experience more fun with an SWS...I know I would.

Reasons (besides the fact the I am biased :p):


Wanted in groups,especially once Song of Hunter is available.

Great party buffs for group pvp.

Some useful party buffs for day-to-day PvE.

Good damage output for a buffer class (good attack speed, criticals, accuracy) - though never a real DD.

Limited tanking abilities (but at least he has some real ones) as bonus.

Fastest self-buffed running speed for heavy armor classes - and three effective speed debuffs (Arrest, Psych Symphony and Entangle) on top of that.

Rather cheap to maintain as far as armor and weapons go (can sing with any weapon, doesn`t need specific set of armor to be effective at all).

Low-priority target during most PvP`s (for all the good or bad that will do).

so um... why did you choose this section of the boards?

I think it will be moved shortly to the "Players Questions" section of the board.
The question by itself is valid of course and I hope we get some TK players to comment on it too.

I play 67 TK and I can Kill SWS and usualy have about 1400-2000 HP left ...... but I'll be darned if I didn't solo ALOT more of my lvls =) You can go main stream = SWS or you can go for the underdog = TK .... and SWS have a big problem lvling from 40-49 caus no song of hunter yet ... and people think a SWS w/out that song is worthless. TK is accualy a decent soloer and a fantastic soloer of Archer mobs caus with shield mastery 4, deflect arrow 4, armor masteries, cubic adding damage and healing, and finaly some root too keep the mob still. I've lvled with a SWS alot and with both of us I never lose HP with Vr caus of my Stacked P def =) Honestly either class is good but people don't like to bring along a TK most of the time ..... well .... just about ever <3 Everyone loves SWS end of story =)

SwS for easier leveling......Needed for PvP as well. After all, end game archers > all
