Someone remind me how much we pay per month because I've somehow forgot.
Every single server (about 2 minutes ago) showed up as Heavy. I couldn't log on to 2 of them. The only server which didn't state heavy was Gustin (lucky you). -- Franz and Teon are Heavy 24/7.
The money that my friends and I have paid since we've played LII could quite easilly have paid for an upgraded server box. Why do we have to put up with FULL servers and heavy loads?
Sure, wages need to be paid, but without happy customers, there are no customers, which means there is no work, which means no budget for wages....... Stop spending money on making fancy websites and paying researchers to invent quests and events and focus on the network which is Lineage II. I have 10 meg cable and I find it hard to believe that lag issues are anything to do with my PC, my ISP or anything else in England.
On the plus side, the finer stuff in game is brilliant; new clan stuff, skills and such. But there is a balance when it comes to the lag and complaints we read every day on these forums.
Please, for everyone's sake, add some breathing space to the servers.
Nah I play in England, have since I started, lag sucks on mine. My mate plays, on a pc older than mine, and doesn't suffer any crits and bare minimum lag.
I have to add... with the addition of a new server, lessons should have been learned from Teon. Teon is ALWAYS heavy or laggy. Even for me in London getting a 30ms ping to it. I play on Sieg which I find less laggy than Teon/Franz with a 200ms+ ping. What's the deal NC? I imagine there are as many EU players as there are NA players. Why only have 2 EU servers?
Can you tell me which servers wouldn't let you log in please? I wasn't aware that was happening so I will pass along your report; however, all servers should be allowing logins. Thanks!
I attempted to log into Bartz and Franz, both of which took me to the EULA and after I'd clicked Agree or OK or whatever it was it sent me back to the login screen. This happened for about 3 attempts on both servers. Normally this would be the case if you never logged in after a few minutes or whatever, but this time it was immediate.
I double-checked and none of the servers should be refusing connections. If you experience this again, please contact Technical Support (http://support.lineage2.com) to find the cause. Thank you!
I live in The United States, I decided to play on Teon and now that the servers are located in Germany my ping is huge and I dont suffer lag any worse as it was before they moved. The only time I wasent able to log into teon was a few weeks before the launch of C4 and that only lasted about 3 days and after several attempts i was alowed to log in. You have a strange problem.
Hmmm I live about 50km north of Boston Mass. (USA) I ping Franz avg of 125 I allso ping Dev. 35 lag is about the same for both and never had a log on problem (except after server restart) Have you tried running a detailed ping that shows all nodes aand repeaters? Ping ploter pro is prety good and it has 30 day FREE trial I don't have the excact address byt you should be able to locate through search.
