Question about weapontype; Polearm

Maybe its been asked before but i've been reading so much i've gotten sick of it and found nothing on this matter, what class is a polearm considered? I dont mean as in a polearm/staff/swordblunt/2hand sowrd etc.. i mean which mobweakness does a polearm fall in under? dagger weak mobs? bluntweak mobs? earth? etc, as far as i've seen there are dagger, blunt, arrow weak mobs and weak mobs to all the elements of magic... but under where of these does a polearm fall? or does it not fall in under any at all and is a stand alone weapon that there arent any mobs with a weakness for?
Ive never seen any mobs that were weak to polearm.
not weak to a pole-arm, but I had much more damage on a blunt attack weak mob with a pole then w/o the weakness.

Neither have i, which is also why i asked, lol

that suggests the pole falls under blunt weapon weak mobs, thanks :)
They added Spear Weak Point on the mobs in the Schuttgart area in c5, since its supposed to be where orcs and dwarfs so its designed for them, some mobs also have a shock weak point there. You can find mobs with Resist Polearm attacks in the festival.

A blunt is not even similar to a polearm, the mob probably had naturally weak p.def
think poles are poles tbh, there were resist pole mobs in the festivle in c4, not been there in c5 yet.

I can still distinguish the blunt attack weak point from the weak P def symbol, tyvm :)
What Lofl said, polearm is it's own type of damage, it's just "Polearm damage". Fists have been the same way, people have wondered if they are sword or blunt damage or something but they're just "Fists damage" or "hand to hand damage".
Up until C5 there have been no polearm or fists weak mobs, only polearm resist ones. You can find some polearm/fists weak mobs in the newbie areas near schtuttgart, but they're only level 20-30 or something I think.
what distinguishes a blunt from something like a sword or a dagger is the lack of a cutting edge. while historically there were pole arm that had long blade or axe head at one end, the edge on these was more blunt than on a regular edged weapon. claymores are a general exception to this rule as they are swords with blunt edges.

however I have no idea if the devs designed it like this or not, if they did then a polearm would fall under the general category of blunt weapon, same goes for a staff.
A staff is put under the blunt category both in game, as in the reference table on the main site.

Thanks for the historical reference, its always nice to hear those kinds of things :)
Grats on 60.
thanks :)
and thanks ya'll who tried to answer my question :) very much appreciated :)
