Enhances Damage in PvP

I had a question about the descriptions of some of the Special Abilities on the A Grade weapons. On all A grade weapon SA descriptions it says "Enhances Dmg in PvP"
Does this mean that it improves MELEE damage only?

The reason I ask is because some weapons like the Sword of Miracles is, mainly, a mage weapon. Does this mean that PvP damage is counted in it's Matk? I tried to search on the subject but i am at a loss on how to word the search without getting a million posts to look through. :P

yes, ranged and mage attacks hit harder with a grade...
i tried 2 mage wpns, same m attack, one a grade, and a grade hits harder on same target with same spell. think it was about 7% difference, not sure though.

Mage skills is 5%, Melee is 10%
