What would be the best pole user 20 - 50ish? He would have access to a se with vr4 also though. Im guessing either a human warrior or a orc raider? Point of it is to make myself a prophet so if anyone has a faster suggestion for 1 - 50 im all ears. The se and proph will be on the same account though. Or lol is this a bad idea? Or will i get crazy from relogging the se and prophet all the time in the future?
Pre 40 there isn't much difference between the pole classes at all. They all just get polearm masteries and wildsweep. The latter is somewhat useless as it doesn't affect VR and the damage is quite marginal. I only use it for overhitting.
If you just want to PL a prophet I think it would be more convenient to give him some duals or a dagger and grind him normally. While aoe xp can be great, there are so many conditions that have to be met that it sometimes becomes quite a chore. Relogging the SE to buff the pole user and then relog the prophet to join the party sounds like one of those chores.
With the new aoe rules in C4 and C5, you won't be able to do massive huge trains without level 40 masteries anyway.
actually as soon as you get pole masteries, on my warrior, i was able to just about nail every mob in trains containing massive ammounts of mobs, 3 - 4 full rooms for example (which is a pretty **** good sized train)..
it's when it gets outa hand that say, you train and then get 2 full blown deep trains dumped on you as well (had this happen recently, **** jerks).
musta been 60-80 mobs on just the 2 of us (lvl 30 warrior and lvl 37 dwarf). We died horribly because we could seem to really hit anything enough times to kill it, it would randomly hit mobs.
If it absolutely has to be done this way i'd suggest human warrior going down the path of Warlord, the other poleclasses like dwarves or orcs are pretty much the same stuff skillwise while a Warlord gets a stun skill that has about the same range as a whirlwind i believe and also a 360 area of effect.. but yeah. have fun logging the two buffer/healers out every 20 mins :) lol
A great pole combo is a Warlord and a Destroyer. However for pole parties you must have 1-2 dedicated healers depending on how many mobs you are pulling. A BD is also a must so you crit more often. A buffer of some sort is also required I prefer WC but prophet with zerk is also great. You can even add a nuker to the mix with aoe skills or an Ovelord for their seal spells. Even if the Overlord is not in your clan/ally they make a great addition trust me.
If you want fast levelling pole parties are the way to go. The xp is fast and poling is fun. Dont try and be both healer and buffer because your attention will be to divided. 2 box pole parties rarely work well and all polers prefer a live healer.
a BD's dances increase your critical rate aswell as your critical attack that stacks intop of Focus and Deathwhisper buffs.. you basically turn into a killingmachine with it all, lol and SwS ontop of that too when you have VR also.. boy you'll never need a heal, lol
critical makes massively more damage when you're buffed and that damage is affected by VR so you get even more hp back when you crit, i'm a dorfpoler with a single +4str -4con tat and doom heavy :p and with vr4 and just the other SE buffs at that lvl, pull a full room in ascetics and crack a regular hp pot a haste2 pot and i break even with the damage mobs deal me and the hp i get back from VR... so i dont need heals at all, lol now if i had a BD, SwS alongside there i would actually come out of every pull at full hp without any heals, but where's the fun in that?call me an idiot but i love the high chance of dieing (and i do die sometimes too, lol, more SP ftw!) so i never ask for BD's or SwS :p if they ask they are more than welcome aboard but i never go looking for one hehe. the high chance of dieing keeps me sharp and on my toes ;) i love it!!

BD's Dance of FIre doesnt affect your crit rate. When you crit, its hits alot harder. It is similar to a Death Whisper spell, you do not crit more, just hits a hella lot harder when you do crit.
Swordswingers have a dance that gives you the extra crit rates ;)
But in the end I hate it to have a BD and SWS in party, so much to buff and so less mp. With just a BD u run with Fury/Fire/Warrioir/Vampiric, with SWS skip Vampiric and take hunter, earth and warding (or all 7 but thats a mp ****, works just if ya got some extra mp on a healer).
