Choosing a Class

Hello everyone,

I decided to return to L2 after half a year break and to start from scratch on the new server (Franz). However I could use some help from more experienced players on choosing which class to play. I have the following wishes for the new toon and the rest does not really matter.

1. Race: Dark Elf
2. Will be of use to clans at high level play (sieges, raids, etc.)
3. Does not have too many problems leveling, meaning can either solo or will be often picked up by groups.
4. Preferably not a spellhowler. Played one to level 50 before and would prefer something different from "nuke, nuke, nuke" routine this time.

Keeping all that in mind which class would you choose? Even better if you could explain why. Thanks in advance for your replies. :)

A BD for sure, you can easily level up. You are usefull for ANY party in the game and you play an important role in both sieges and raids.

BD and SwS are truly the 2 most needed classes for partys. Even moreso since alot of ppl can box their healer but cant figure out hwo to dance every 2 minutes w/o screwing themselves up.
