Spellbooks question

Spellbooks are dropped from the same monsters used to drop in C4?

I'm looking for these SBs and the monsters who drop them:

1) Silence
2) Vampiric Claw
3) Curse Fear
4) Surrender to Wind
5) Shadow Flare
6) Death Spike
7) Tempest
8) Curse Death Link

My Priorities are 1) 2) 3) 4) and 5).

Can anyone please post some info about the mobs who drop the above SBs?

Yeah, all books still drop for the same mobs as in previous expansions. Most of the books you listed drop under Ivory Tower. (need a min to compile the list)

1) Silence - Enchanted Iron Golem(Ivory Tower)
2) Vampiric Claw - Enchanted Gargoyle(Ivory Tower)
3) Curse Fear - Enchanted Iron Golem(Ivory Tower - Good luck getting that one :p )
4) Surrender to Wind - Enchanted Golem(Ivory Tower)
5) Shadow Flare - Nightmare -Group mob by Giran I think. I never could get that one and had to Buy it.
6) Death Spike - Unicorns(Enchanted Valley - Good luck getting that one)
7) Tempest - Satyr Elder (Enchanted Valley - Good luck on this too)
8) Curse Death Link - Unicorn Elder (Enchanted Valley - Still, Good luck on this)

They moved shadow flare books off the skellys in pirate island?

Shadow Flare is dropped by the Nightmare Guide, part of the group mobs in Tanor Canyon that have wings. Forget what the main mob is called. Better to bring someone with you that you can AOE these guys.

Enchanted Gargoyle is the one that drops Surrender to Wind, not the golems.

We farmed the Enchanted Iron Golems for 1 hour the other night and got two Curse Fear spellbooks. So they are dropping.

Yes they did. Came as quite a surprise to me when I tried to farm them on the Island for about 3 hours with a friend that needed it. We found out about it while we were chatting with another player that showed up there. Weren't happy to hear that at all after 3 hours of grinding.

Maybe true... but the Flare books were about 100 times easier to farm when they dropped from the skeletons in the entrance to the island. Not that I'm complainging because a solo Sps can easily take down the Nightmare groups and I'm made several million selling those since they moved the drop. I even soloed those groups with my Warsmith in light armor for a while (although the Sps is the more efficient technique).

The move isn't really a bad thing.. those zaken snipers at the enterance were nasty
