I read the post earlier....real nice....actually it sucks...its not cool not cool at all. I'm disapointed at the marketing of our game. these are the books however id like to see them market, i dont know if you guys have heard of these, but here soon im making a website and seeling them, only because ncsoft or the makers of lineage two...hahaha

I'm seriouse! wtf are they thinking? these are the things that would get people interested in the game, as well as enjoy as gift packages......

1. ARK "Lineage2 Illustrations" beutiful concept and fantasy images of the land of aden, the artwork is fantastic.
2.LINEAGE II "The Master Guide"
the books is in a stone green ....pretty book
3.LINEAGE II "Masters Guide: Monsters & Map"
the book is in a stone wash blue also a pretty looking book
4.LINEAGE II "Chronicle 4 Masters Guide to Items"
the book is green with a dragon spewing fire
5.LINEAGE II "Chronicle 5 Masters Guide "
Book with the Dark Elfholding the zariche on the loading screen.
These Books are real, the ads where korean but the typeset was in english, so they are available for U.S. residents.
the books where around $24.95 or so.
The Ark was beutiful, and i beleave cost around that price.
I'd love to have that as a christmas gift with say a 3 month time card.
This is why i dislike the marketing of our game.
Whats available to us but we dont know about it.
Its a slap in the face to offer me or any customer a "gift set"
of out of date software, and not something like what is actually out there as a gift set.
I'm posting this in other forums as well, i think the community will like to offer there opinion on the little knowledge I obtained....
1 more thing...theres more books out there pertaining to classess, quests, items, events, and other helps new players would enjoy, copyrighted and designed by the developers of lineage2. Whoever is making the "HEY look we care!" section of the marketing for the U.S. should really consider reading this post and doing something to get the content to its loyal customers.

I mean...isnt this stuff a tad bit more exciting then, there promotional offer? why didnt they work on this content instead? Alot of the books ive seen, granted the marketing in asia is a little better then it is here, but its as if L2 North america really doesnt care about advertising this product this whole "Finaly all the chronicles at once!" crap is silly....
its not fantastic. it isnt dazzling. there not doing us favors promoting our product this way.

They would blow the WoW market out of the water. at least this christmas they would.
I get so mad at the hype sometimes, this stuff has been around for a while. I have never seen it advertised on the main website, and found most of it only by chance

Yah...I got em....was a little upset knowing theres alot more things the marketing crew for L2 could do, other then what theyve come up with. So i went a little....heh..post crazy
This DVD edition really isn't anything special EXCEPT that it has new packaging, is the entire game, and might capture the attention of people who have never heard of the game or who knew about it (or tried it once) but then forgot about it.
It's a repackaging nothing more. But if you remember that so many people were screaming about not seeing the game in stores at all, then this comes as a boon. New players means an influx of new blood. More money for NC might mean better service, better updates, more (and more varied) events, etc.
Can this be better? Sure. But when you are going from seing NO boxes in stores when you used to see a few then this is a vast improvement.
Yes thats true. and i can understand its an affordable way to market the product. However, I feel that L2 could if they wanted to, come up with a gift set.
a packaging set that would indefinatly excite the new markets, and pump up the old markets as well. I guess we all want to see that from our entertainment company.
This all started with me about 6 months ago. I knew some of the books out there. I knew about the action figures (the company has more chars from L2 i lost the website) Knew about the books.
I went into Best Buy to get a game card...and the guy said "lineage 2 is still being played?"
and he tried to sell me the WoW package.
the game cards werent on the shelves.
But this huge 4 book set and wall sized map of a world my clan mates despise was, right next to where the L2 stuff usually is. (World of Warcraft package set)
So i wondered if there even where books out there, and there are. I wondered if a set could be made...and it can.
Id just really like to see it on the shelves. So yes I understand, I'd Just like NcSoft to go bigger thats all.
Oh, I don't know... hardly better. Just different.
And quite frankly I agree. What's more.. I want a dark elf mage in DC and SOM that I can put on my desk so that I can remind myself of this game for years to come.
Agreed. The truth is this game is sooo marketable. Its a beutiful game. And there are products for players out there.
I feel that either the current marketing team is just missing it,
or a marketing firm just hasnt been sold the idea to waste there time with this mmog.
Im not sure how many figurines are out there, but snoop around im sure theres more. I just havent found them yet.
One of my clan mates is working on our website now.
