hey I dont know if this is the right forum, but im just starting this game up again, no money or anything, I was planning on going SH/SE but I realized my SH probably couldnt kill anything without sps... So can anyone suggest a duo that would level fast? (keep in mind I have no money) I was thinking TH/PP or TH/SE
Even solo SH is a pretty effective class even withoutu SpS and if you want to level a dagger quickly you'll need soulshots. I think you'll find htat the SH is both cheaper and easier to level.

Yeah, I think so. Besides, use shots when you kill mobs but make sure you are killing mobs that give you a profit. I levelled to 40 only useing spirit shots, no Blessed shots (they werent' in the game when I started and I found them too expensive until the higher lvls.)
But you will still do a lot of damage, so either get another who will tank, Shillien Elder (eventually) who will give you "Empower" and be able to recharge you (they get Empower at lvl 25) or even an archer who will tank (some of my best parties were with a Silver Ranger.
The class group that levels most smoothly without shots is least pressed about money on a whole is summoner - and a PP & summoner have a nice killspeed too.
But as the others said - SHs can definitely do it.
I would agree that the summoner classes would be some of the "cheapest" to level, if you can find good deals on crystals. Crystals can get rather pricey.
The SH is good for soloing and lvling. Granted you won't level as fast as if you used shots, because using shots reduces the down time due to letting you kill more before you rest. Pretty much twice as much.
Melee have the advantage that they can just hit things without use of MP. A dagger such as a Treasure Hunter would be good if you could get another dagger to go with you, and would be the best if you could find a support class to come heal and buff you. Two TH with VR3 don't need shots and can level nonstop, with a heal pot or heal once and a while.
Fastest leveling imo, would be the SH. Use those newbie shots that you get when you start. Don't spam them. Most mobs in the beginning you can one shot anyway without them, gremlins, kelters, etc. Start using them when your weapon is starting to get out of your range and u do less damage to mobs. DON'T SPAM! Maybe use one, and see if you can one shot with one without much waste, meaning...if without the shot you can almost one shot, find a harder mob. Or find mobs that you can use a shotted hit, and then a normal hit.
See what I am saying. Doing this, and then doing the quest that gives you more NG shots and a new weapon should get you all the way to lvl 20 with using little or no money.
