Petrification scrolls

Has any one ever found one of these? I picked up a few the other day and currently wonder if they are worth anything.
Or just used for PvP

Never heard of those. Where did you get it? Whats the description?

They look like waking scrolls. They are labeled PvP scrolls I believe. Not sure if they are uneffective in PvE. They say they petrify the target. Dunno if its % based or lands every time.

I was soooo tempted to buy them, but I really couldn't believe it wasn't a scam. Or my eyes playing tricks on me. I had never heard of the scrolls before. They weren't in the patch notes (as far as I know). Just seemed too weird.

Anyone know where they come from?

Last year of so I got some on drop. don't remember what tho, and used them on what i don't remember with no success.(tried them on mobs, invalid target, tried on purple flagged invalid target not sure if i need to be flagged for pvp either, waiting for a red to test on next)

These 3 I have now i'm almost sure i got as drop in Vally of the Saints..

nothing shows in data base any where, and i know they are not new do to the fact in getting them last year

would love a GM to comment on this

That was me...selling em... Thing is they are not from the C5 patch I did get some around end of C3 start of C4 too

Wow, I have only just seen them recently. Weird. Youd think there would be more around if they have been around so long.

U can get 3 of them after turning in the 10 quest items to the steward at the entrance to ice queen castle which will also start the raid.

I have never heard of these scrolls, ever. I'd like one though. That'd be fun to screw around with o.O
