just logged in to hunt, and i noticed after about 50 kills that i hadn't gotten any medals. usually the worst i've had is 1 medal per 10 kills....anyway, killed another 50 after that, looking for a medal somewhere...nope, nothin. is the event over or something (thought it went til oct. 10)?? or did NC change the drop rate on medals? i guess it COULD be just incredibly horrible luck, but i doubt it.....
not sure why it sux that they stopped dropping, but i think those of us who read sorta expected this to happen....just like it said it would two weeks ago.
You might try hunting bots, they might still drop medals. They might even drop more than 1 at a time. :o
It did say it would end on October 3rd, 10am CST, 4pm GMT but it simply didn't. It stopped a day early for some reason.
I did send a petition and I got sent back the date and times of the event. So I sent another petition and I pointed out the event finish time was still several hours away, yet medals were not dropping. This time a GM started chatting to me. And guess what? He posted the event start and finish times. lol.
I told him that I already knew the start and finish times and he should look at them himself and he would realise the end time was NOT yet reached. Finally he told me he would fix it. He didn't. So the event finished a day early.

It does appear that the event medals stopped dropping a few hours earlier than announced yesterday. I sincerely apologize for the error in the announcement, and I hope everyone is enjoying the event!

I would enjoy it a lot more if it was a permanent event. Call it a "permevent"
