I hope you guys choke on those spell books. 455k for Shadow flare? you have got be kidding if you think anyone is going to pay those prices.

you all forget that the reason prices are high on the old servers is because of the adena buyers. well, listen up, PRICES should reflect the gold availability. and you guys just dont get it.

that means that I and many others will find the spell books the old fashioned way.

On Franz there are adana buyers to of course, so that market also exist for them.

But if other people react like you, prices will drop dramatically. Best way to get spellbooks is to join a clan and share the books.

Prices are set by availability and demand. Not the amount of money in the average person pocket. SB on a new server are a luxary for the rich and those willing to farm their own. Nothing more nothing less.

Haha that's cheap. When Shadowflare came out over a year ago there were 6x nukers looking to pick it up at 1-2M a piece. Farming the book was great for income...because so few mobs dropped it and so few players could hunt for it. Get over yourself.

Exactly. If nobody buys them, the price will go down. Then the demand isn't high enough to justify such a high price.
It's their item, they can charge exactly how much as they want. It's your money, you can choose exactly how to spend it.

While it is an open pvp game, I think a lot of people won't be all too happy with being pk'ed for asking a certain price for an item. They set the price, you choose if you want to buy it or not.
If I have something rare that doesn't really have a price so I don't exactly know what to charge for it, I start high. Very high. And work my way down. It's scary to think that I might be kos to someone just to see if I could sell a lvl80 buffalo for 200m overnight.

Only 455k? That is 'half-price' on my server. Same for Solar Flare.

Oh, and if you think they're bots, you really shouldn't need them to set an 'overpriced' shop to motivate you killing them.

If you can afford it and are lazy, you'll buy it.
