Accused as a bot

Straight off, I'm not a bot. I happen to like playing healer and buffer classes. Heresy, right? I have sometimes been accused of being a bot in the past, I guess because all the l334 players have buff-bots along when they solo, and personally I enjoying duoing so it looks the same, but so far I've had no real problems with that - turn the other cheek and suchlike.

However, I have now been purportedly reported to the GMs as being a bot, simply because was doing what my class (Shillien Oracle) does well - i.e. healing and buffing. How do I go about documenting that I am not in fact a bot for the purposes of convincing the GMs? I would be really annoyed to see my account locked because someone in a well-known clan decided to make my life difficult when I happened to be in his way as he was leveling an alt, and he decided that I should suffer for the presumption of thinking that I have a right to level too. The player in question attacked us for "stealing his mobs", going purple in the process, and then I stood back and healed my duo partner as he retaliated. He ran out of greater healing potions around the same time that I ran out of mana, and it ended as a draw, but he said afterwards that he had reported me as a bot. This was probably just an empty threat, but I am worried.

Are there screenshots, system configuration info, IP address info, or anything else that would be useful for me to have on hand to provide the GMs if they come asking questions?

This is not your job. If you aren't botting there is nothing for the GM to find. I would welcome the entire Hindemith community to report me. Daily.

It would be a sad day when people get banned solely for the number of reports received.

At the OP: I suggest you just don't worry too much about it. If you continue playing as you normally do, then you cannot, in any way, be confirmed as a bot. If you are comfirmed as being a bot, I would be very, very ashamed at NCsoft. o.O

You have to be proven a bot, not just because someone says you are. At least that's how it better work. You don't have to prove anything, the day people have to prove they aren't a bot is the day I quit.

Just to confirm, the use of a third-party program does have to be proven before action is taken against an account. As others mentioned, just because you're reported as a bot it doesn't mean that you will be automatically banned.
