In Kiryana's absence, I've been moderating over at l2danceswithwolves.com. Unfortunately, October 2nd the domain name expired and with Kiryana nowhere to be seen, I believe this is the end of the site, for now.
Hopefully when she returns to us we'll be back up and running, but for now everyone please bow your heads for a moment in respect to a great site having passed.

If it is at a normal registraur, they don't care who pays for it as long as it gets paid. You could just pay up for another year and not worry about it.

Sorry, didn't not mean to imply anything at all by my suggestion towards you. Was simply hoping that some good karma would come back you way for doing something that selfless..

Its all about the Karma. Im one of those people that picks up trash if its in my path, opens doors for others etc. However, last night at my local bar I made the comment to some drunk that he was rude by walking between my friend and I while we were talking without saying excuse me. He almost spilt my drink too. He made comments like he wanted to fight, ohh how I wish I was in my 20's again. Lucky for my being 6'7" helps dilute some peoples ideas of starting something :confused:

I hope so. I just tried reloading the site and its still not up. I beleive it just went down for non registration. Hopefully in the next day or so it will be back up. If not, maybe we will get lucky and Kiranya will get an e-mail from the reg site saying it had been renewed and he might re-load it. Cross your fingers.
Well, there are two things to a site, the domain name and the actual hosting. Even if the domain name is up, the hosting account or where the DNS points to might no longer be active, in which case the site is lost unless Kir comes online herself and fixes it. :(
The registrar has a message that says contact them after 72 hours if the site isn't up by then. The Registrar already shows an updated expiration date of 2007 and there is a message verifying the domain has been renewed. All is good on that end.
