With the C5 port changes, you now have to go to Oren or Aden to get to Hunter's Villiage. Since then I haven't even been through it but maybe twice. It's impractical to go there anymore. Pre-C5 it was the place everyone went to pretty much to sell Spell Books. Now that is not as easy to get to, or as frequented, could it be that Nunter's Villiage is not the best place to sell spellbooks anymore?
And, if it is no longer the place to sell spellbooks, where would that be, then? Some offhand corner of Giran? Or possibly Schuttgart? Maybe Aden, since it is now only one cheap port away from Giran?
HV port costs just as much as it always did, I believe.

Oddly enough, the Giran ---> Aden port is the only "direct port" that is cheaper than the stepwise ports.
That's true, but I believe that much of HV's success as a place to sell things was the fact that everyone went through it to get to Aden. But, if it's still possible to sell spellbooks there easily, then so be it.
Well, what corner then? On Lionna the breakdown of Giran is like this:
The main selling area is the bottom of the stairs to the north hallway's entrance on the main square, all wrapped around the north half of the square. The place to buy materials is in and around the north hallway entrance, and the place to buy crystals and C/D grade shots is the north hallway itself. The crafting area is along the western wall of the square, and the place to sell S grade most often is the southwest corner of the central pillar of the square. The place to buy B and A grade shots is the western hallway.
I was thinking about attempting to make the southern hallway the Spellbook Corner.

Same on Kain. Crafting is done near Taurin, crystal sales near the Lux Shop in north hallway, high end full items near the GK and along the north wall of the square, AA and such near the Dawn Priest. Mats and such along north wall and north hallway.
Off topic/ I wish they would set up designated selling areas to force private shops out of the way of the stairs and other "high traffic" areas. (e.g Gatekeeper) :P
